Chapter 773

After divorce, Ex-wife Revealed Identities

Chapter 773

Brayden watched the video and became angry. "The Ritter family is so

rich that they can even buy off this bullied old lady. They can even

release a clarification video."

Jenna's face turned pink, her cherry lips slightly parted, and her clear

eyes stared at the video. "The Ritter family is too scary.”

It seems that money really does make the world go round. How could

they do such a thing? This is like turning the tables on them; their

previous release of Ashlyn's bad temper and spoiled image has been

redeemed by this video clip.

"We should go downstairs," Brayden put away his phone with a serious

expression, naturally taking Jenna's small hand as he walked outside.

Jenna blushed at his natural gesture but knew that now was not the

time for romance; it was important to figure out how to deal with the

situation.

Inside the restaurant, Cody and Mrs. Wright sat at a table with an

intense atmosphere.

Lexie didn't know what had happened exactly but saw Secretary Cody

answer a call before his face turned dark.

She quickly brought all of their food to their table before leaving them

alone.

"Dad, the Ritter family has made new moves," Brayden said eagerly as

soon as he sat down.

“I already know," Cody replied in a deep voice. "The Ritter family is

indeed difficult to handle; we just hit them back after they hit us.”

"But they clearly cheated!" Brayden gritted his teeth in anger. "What

should we do now?"

"Hmph... even if they find another old lady witness again, it's still true

that Ashlyn pushed Jenna," Cody sneered coldly. “They haven't won

completely yet."

"Moreover, although the Ritter family is rich and controls Graley Piano

Competition through Mrs. Ritter's influence on Piano Association... do

they really think winning it will be easy?" Cody looked serious as he

continued speaking, "We need to consider this matter carefully since

there are no breakthroughs from Ashlyn's side.”

"There must be other places where we can seek help,” he added while

thinking about how someone hired by the Ritters almost killed him. He

couldn't let this slide without any consequences! Besides, there were

also some people who were caught during that incident. Maybe one of

them knows something more about who orchestrated everything

behind-the-scenes... It looks like more effort needs to be put into

investigating these matters further!

"Let's eat first," Mrs. Wright said, feeling anxious. But she still looked at

Jenna with concern. "Jenna, you're leaving for the competition in a few

days. How's your piece coming along?"

Jenna looked hesitant. “I wrote one, but I don't know if it's any good. I

sent it to Sylvia and hope she can give me some feedback."

"It's okay, it's just a competition," Mrs. Wright reassured her daughter.

“You're still young and if this doesn't work out, we can try again next

time."

She served Jenna some food and continued speaking to both of her

children, "Now that your father has become an official in Urgford,

you've seen how power hasn't brought us any benefits - only traps

everywhere we turn. So when you go out there to do things or speak up

for yourselves, be careful with what you say."

"We understand,” Brayden nodded.

Jenna tilted her head like an attentive student listening carefully to the

lesson.

Brayden couldn't help but feel drawn to her delicate charm.

Just as the Wright family was figuring out how to deal with the Ritter

family situation, Cody received a phone call.

"Cody, that video is fake," came Sylvia's calm voice on the other end of

the line.

“I know it's fake; The Ritter family must have paid off that old lady who

made up those false documents,” Cody replied confidently.

"No no no... I mean that old lady is fake too! The one who got into a

fight with Ashlyn wasn't even her!" Sylvia spoke coldly yet calmly as

always, exuding an air of composure even in tense situations like this

one.

"What are you talking about?" Cody was surprised by this revelation

from Sylvia.

“The Ritter family just found some random old lady; they blurred out her

face so nobody knows what she really looks like!" Sylvia explained

patiently while rolling her eyes at how desperate their opponents were

getting now.

It seemed like there was nothing Sylvia didn't know about...

"How did you find out?" Cody asked curiously again.

As if there were anything going on in this world without Sylvia knowing

about it?

"Because... I was actually there!" With those words spoken firmly by

Sylvia's lips over the phone line before hanging up abruptly once more.

Sylvia then noticed someone had entered into room without knocking —

closing door behind them — so she quickly put away her phone.

She lifted up her head only see a man walking towards him before

pocketing cell phone back inside purse once more...

Franklin walked towards her step by step, with a seductive smile on his

lips and his gaze fixed straight on her.

The man stood in front of her and asked, "Have you finished your

phone call?"

"Yes." Sylvia nodded, only to see Franklin's smile deepen and become

more genuine. Sylvia couldn't quite understand what this man was up

to.

Franklin suddenly lifted her up by the waist and placed her on the table,

making her face him at eye level.

Sylvia looked confused with a question mark on her face, "?"

Franklin suddenly leaned in close and whispered in a low voice, “Then I

can kiss you."

Sylvia looked closely into the man's eyes, his pupils were particularly

captivating.

"Do I look so handsome that you can't take your eyes off me?"

Franklin's tone remained calm, not at all like he was flirting with her, but

his Adam's apple bobbed up and down as if he was suppressing

something.

Sylvia gradually realized that the way men looked at her was like they

were sizing up prey, which was completely different from their usual

cold and restrained demeanor.

She instinctively tried to push him away, but ended up being

counterattacked by the man.

He lowered his head and accurately wordlessly captured her lips, as if

a hunter suddenly launching an attack.

The man held her waist with one hand and leaned on the nearby table

with the other.

For a while, he didn't let go of her.

"Franklin!" Sylvia called out angrily to him.

The man's gaze was extremely aggressive as he deeply scrutinized her

rosy little face. "You're going to the Graley Piano Competition in a few

days, will you take me with you?"

In Sylvia's ears, it sounded like saying, "If you dare to leave me behind,

I will keep kissing you until you agree to take me with you today.”

Did she understand correctly?

At this moment, Franklin immediately hugged her in his arms again, his

eyes seemed to want to tear her apart.

At this moment, there suddenly came a sound of footsteps from outside

the door.

Sylvia struggled with all her might to break free from the man's grasp.

"Franklin, are you crazy? This is your MI6 office.”

Franklin, who was pushed, is breathing unsteadily.

Two buttons on the shirt have come undone, and the collar is wrinkled.

Sylvia couldn't help but admit that Franklin was oozing with sex appeal

and was incredibly charming. Just then, there was a knock on the door

and Sylvia jumped off the table.

"Come in," Franklin's voice sounded husky.

"Master Franklin, the club from Ritter Group has invited us to play a

friendly game against them at MI6. Should we accept?" Vaughn rushed

in with his report.

Ritter Group?

Again, Ritter Group?

This was clearly a blatant provocation.

All of Club Ritter's players were professional basketball players who

had even won awards in domestic basketball competitions.

They actually invited MI6, an amateur team, to play basketball against

them?

This was clearly their way of humiliating MI6.

First they humiliated Cody and now they wanted to humiliate MI6 too?

Franklin's face darkened slightly as he coldly chuckled. "Of course we

should accept!"

“If we don't accept it, won't people look down on us?" Sylvia raised her

eyebrows challengingly.

Did they really think that MI6 had no one capable enough?

MI6 had a huge area which included a basketball court where

employees often participated in sports activities. Although there might

be some differences between amateurs and professionals, it wasn't like

they were completely inferior either.

Moreover, one of the basic requirements for joining M16 was martial

arts proficiency or at least self-defense skills.

Did outsiders really think that all employees at MI6 were weaklings who

couldn't defend themselves?

"Can we schedule the league game for Saturday?" Vaughn asked

Franklin.

“Yes. We'll have training every night until then,” Franklin replied sternly.

"Everyone who wants to participate can sign up and will be selected

based on merit."

"Yes Master Franklin."

Every club has its own base which includes training grounds and

headquarters.

Club Ritter is backed by The Ritter Group so it is wealthy beyond

measure; everything within their base exudes luxury.

The club manager stared incredulously when he heard his assistant's

report: "What did you say? Did you say that even MI6 accepted?"

“Yes! They want to schedule it for Saturday,” replied the assistant

looking equally amazed while scrolling through Facebook

“It's ridiculous that he dared to accept the challenge. Franklin really

doesn't know his place. Our club is professional, and there's no way

MI6 can win!" The manager laughed triumphantly. "Let's immediately

tweet the time of the match to our followers. And even though it's a

friendly game, since we're the ones who initiated the challenge, we

have every right to arrange everything."

"Manager, what do you mean?" The assistant was a little confused.

“You're so naive! We can't charge admission for a friendly game, but

why not livestream it? Hurry up and post a preview of the livestream on

our club's short video account.” The manager tapped his assistant on

the head. "And let's get some more sponsors on board too. We need to

hype up this match as much as possible so that... MI6 will lose face

even more!”
