Chapter 47 - 47 Sun Peng
A Female Forensic Doctor Transmigrates into a Book as the Female Supporting Character
47 Sun Peng
Su Ning nodded and handed the report that contained photos to Yin Tao. âWeâve already found that the dismemberment method didnât come from one person, but I found out today that more than two people might have been involved. At least three types of tools were used.â
Yin Tao looked at the image on the autopsy report and realized the problem Su Ning had pointed out. âLooking at the cut on the skin and the damage to the bones, the cutting tools used are machetes, axes, and saws.â
Su Ning nodded and said, âMoreover, thereâs a huge difference in the location of the cut. Other than Sun Pengâs body parts that were cut more violently, the blood in the other body parts were treated in advance. The blood vessels were very clean, and the cutting surface was relatively intact.â
Su Ningâs deduction further confirmed Feng Jingâs guess. It was a different person who killed Sun Peng and the others.
âMaster, Captain Feng and I discovered today that the murderer is very likely Sun Peng himself.â Yin Tao was not particularly surprised to see Su Ning. She felt that he should have made a new discovery.
âLooking at the timeline, Sun Peng is indeed suspicious. Those body parts were stored for too long. When they were found, half of the plastic bucket was filled with water. They must have used ice to better preserve the dismembered parts.â
Su Ning handed the autopsy report to Yin Tao and said to her, âGive this new finding to Captain Feng. Itâs very likely that Sun Peng was storing body parts and limbs previously. In the end, he was also killed, but for some reason, he was also thrown into the plastic bucket.â
âAlright, Master. You have to rest well too.â Yin Tao realized that Su Ningâs didnât look well and there were dark circles under his eyes.
âThere have been too many murders recently.â Su Ning took off his glasses and gently pressed the bridge of his nose. âThe Wei Corporationâs case has yet to be solved. Other than the drug and a blurry surveillance camera footage, thereâs still no progress on the case.â
Yin Tao also knew that the atmosphere in the police station was very tense. Everyone was under a lot of pressure. Two murders with multiple deaths was not a small matter in City A.
âHealth still comes first. Master, you can go back first. Itâs almost dark. Leave the rest of the work to me.â Yin Tao pulled Su Ning up from the chair and slowly pushed him out of the autopsy lab.
âMaster, rest early. See you tomorrow!â With that, Yin Tao closed the door to the autopsy lab.
Su Ning put on his glasses and shook his head helplessly. Although this young disciple of his was not that good at expressing herself, she was still very sensible. Not only was she capable, but she was also serious with her work, and her attitude was not impetuous. Su Ning was increasingly satisfied with Yin Tao.
With Yin Tao around, Su Ning was relieved. He couldnât help but yawn and planned to go home to rest today.
Yin Tao sent Su Ning out of the autopsy lab and glanced at the autopsy report in her hand. She planned to go to the police station to hand the report to Feng Jing and see if Bai Luo and Xia Jin had returned.
However, when Yin Tao arrived at the police station, Feng Jing was in a meeting with the police officers. Yin Tao didnât go in to disturb him. Through the glass, she saw Feng Jing giving out orders in a serious manner.
âThis person really looks like a detective.â Yin Tao did not deny that Feng Jing was very good-looking, but he always had an aura that kept people away.
Feng Jing was explaining the case when he inadvertently looked up and saw Yin Tao staring at him outside the door. Feng Jing gestured for everyone to wait and walked straight out of the door. The police officersâ attention was also attracted by Captain Feng.
âLittle Yin, whatâs the matter?â
Yin Tao didnât expect Feng Jing to open the door for her. Looking at the gazes that everyone in the room was looking at her with, Yin Tao really wished she could just disappear immediately. She didnât know what kind of magic this man had that could always make her feel so awkward.
âYou go ahead. Iâll talk to you later.â Yin Tao smiled apologetically at the police officers in the room.
Feng Jing opened the door wider and said to Yin Tao, âCome in and wait. Itâs cold outside.â
Under everyoneâs gaze, Yin Tao lowered her head and walked into the room. She silently sat in a corner and waited for Feng Jingâs meeting to end.
Feng Jing instructed everyone on the tasks assigned to them, in preparation for further investigation on everything related to Sun Peng.
Yin Tao waited for Feng Jing until she felt a little sleepy before the meeting ended.
âLittle Yinâ¦â Feng Jing looked at Yin Tao, who was about to fall asleep, and gently walked to her side. Seeing that she had no intention of waking up, Feng Jing took off his coat and draped it over Yin Tao. Then, he sat beside her and read the case report again.
