Chapter 1180
Spoiled (Lily)
After Annie paused, she turned her head and âlookedâ at Catalina. They couldnât tell what their expressions were because they didnât have faces. It wasnât until Catalina arrived at Hell Ruler Palace that it erupted.
âDonât give birth if you donât meet the requirementsâ¦â Catalina questioned rhetorically, âMake the child unhappy? Are you that kid? How can you tell whether heâs happy or not?â
âIâve been there before, and Iâd rather my parents didnât give birth to me!â Annie remarked.
âOh, it seems that you are so incompetent,â Catalina scoffed. âItâs all your parentsâ fault if you donât have an easy life, right? Others work hard from the beginning to live good lives and experience great happiness. You are unwilling to face difficulties and have given up on yourself.â
âYou then blamed social reality and your parents for not providing you with a solid starting point. You donât want to work hard; youâre a slacker, and you still want to get away from reality!â
âOn the one hand, you hate the injustice in the world, while on the other, you are envious of those who were born into prosperous circumstances.â
âYou blame your failure on society, your parents, or the pressure from competitors, but you donât think about what youâve done. Complain freely on the Internet, indulge in extravagance, and mock individuals who work hard to survive. Thatâs your problem.â
Annie was stunned and angry. âWho do you think youâre talking to?â
Catalina said, âIâm just talking about you! You claim that when the circumstances are unfavorable, the poor should not give birth! Does this imply that poor people have no right to have children?â
âYou will rebuke people fiercely if a stray cat on the side of the road is taken in for sterilization.
However, when you see people in awful living situations, you then deduce that they are unfit to have children! Just who the hell do you think you are?â
âYou can only give birth if the conditions are good; therefore, donât give birth if the circumstances arenât ideal. The poor are unworthy of life, enjoyment, or even having children.â
âJust listen to what you just said! You are incredibly self-centered, moaning to your parents and believing that you have a point. You keep stating that the poor should not have children if they donât meet the requirements, as if youâre doing it for the sake of others!â
âYou are not someone elseâs parents or children; how do you know whether someone elseâs children love their parents or not? What makes you think that other parents donât love their children? Is it up to you to judge?â
âThey donât have good circumstances! Love is the only luxury that can be enjoyed. Saying âDonât be born if you are poorâ deprives people of their freedom to love and hope. Thatâs the most idiotic thing Iâve ever heard before!â
âYou are blatantly self-righteous yet incredibly self-serving. Do you believe that your viewpoints are the most reasonable? Whatâs wrong with you? Where do you have the authority to judge another person?â
âPeopleâs lives are difficult enough as they are, and you have to sneer at them, saying, âDonât be born if you are poor,â and making the mother who works hard feel bad, depressed, and morally abducted!
What makes you any different from cyberbullying?â
âDo you still think your comment was sage advice? It appears to be logical. So parents should feel guilty in front of their children, saying, âItâs because of us that you have a bad lifeâ? You make me sick!
Telling children that the reason things arenât going well for them is because of their parents. What kind of nonsense is this?â
âYour vehement criticism of others is nothing more than a way for you to express your displeasure with the world! To make up for your failures in life! Distract you from your feelings of failure and self-
rejection! You are such an awful individual that you continue to vent your displeasure indiscriminately, telling others not to have kids while claiming that youâre doing it for the sake of them!â
âShut your mouth if you canât save your life on your own. Do not point the finger at others! Are you God? You do not have the right to tell a free man that because youâre underprivileged, you donât deserve to have kids.â
âDo not give birth if you are unable to instruct!â you point and yell at children who have spoiled parents in society.
âPeople in poverty are reprimanded for having children if they donât meet the requirements. You criticize them for their inability to educate children if they have money but are unable to raise them well. You are free to comment on anything you like. Shouldnât individuals like you be reprimanded?â
âThe countryâs highest leader has no authority to look at a poor man and declare, âYou are not worthy of having children.â How do you get the right saying, âIf you donât have money, then donât give birth?â
âIf you donât have money, your kids will have to suffer along with you! Itâs cyberbullying. Egotists who abuse others online! Itâs none of your business! You piss me off!â
Catalina finished her sentence in one breath. Two thousand words were directly reprimanded.
Lilly and Pablo were taken aback. Lilly was at a loss for words. This was like having a debate on both sides. Everyone had a reason, so how should we judge this? It was difficult to be the Ruler of Hell!
So, who was right?
