"Here." Yeonjun muttered, placing a plate in front of Jaewon before grabbing another for himself and sitting across her.

"Thank you for the food." Sofia nodded, cheeks turning a little red before reaching down to take a bite.

Jaewon followed and sighed in pleasure once Yeonjun's delicious food savored in her mouth, the taste melting into her tongue.

"Amazing as always." she smiled, looking up and catching Yeonjun's eyes.

Both blushed at the eye contact and quickly looked away, Yeonjun grinning a little as he realised Jaewon once again liked his cooking.

Soobin smirked, a knowing expression crossing his face before finally trying the breakfast his friend had made.

The male's eyes widened at once, immediately taking another bite and chewing quickly.

Too quickly.

Jaewon, noticing the now choking bunny, pushed water towards him, laughing.

"Slow down Soobin." she grinned as Sofia let out the smallest giggle, the sight of Soobin amusing.

"Yeonjun, maybe you should start bringing me lunch boxes too!" Soobin exclaimed instead, ignoring everyone else's comments.

Yeonjun shook his head but everyone could see the small grin tugging against his lips as he took another bite into the food.

"I only cook for Jaewon."

The blue hair boy winked at the said girl who glared at him in response but was actually blushing hard. Turning away, Jaewon finished up her food quickly and the others followed before they all cleaned up and left to Yeonjun's room.

They weren't going there for a particular reason. They had just followed the eldest and all ended up there.

"I am boreddddd." Soobin whined, dragging on the 'd' as he fell face first onto Yeonjun's bed.

"I am bored as well." Sofia responded shyly.

She still found it a little strange to be spending this much time with people she wasn't actually that close to.

"Let's play something then." Yeonjun shrugged, leaning against the wall across his bed.

"Or we could find Taehyun since Soobin left without telling him."

Everyone turned to look at Jaewon and she bit her lip, looking away and avoiding eye contact with everyone due to the embarrassment.

"She's right, I left Taehyun." Soobin groaned, sitting up straight and pouting to no one in particular.

Sofia smiled, her eyes watching Soobin's cute pink lips with a dazed expression.

"Let's go there then." Yeonjun said and the group stood up, ready to head to Soobin's house to find Taehyun.

"We should probably get Huening Kai while we're at it-"

Soon, the group had made their way out of Yeonjun's house and towards Soobin's with umbrellas just in case it was to rain again. Since it was the weekend, none of them had to worry about school.

Once they arrived at Soobin's place, the door opened to reveal an older, angry woman, who glared at Soobin the moment she set eyes on him.

"H...Hey mom!" Soobin awkwardly chuckled, gulping when he noticed his mom wasn't amused.

With a frown on her face, Mrs. Choi let everyone into the house where Taehyun came out of nowhere and tackled Soobin who fell over in shock. Both boys landed on the ground and Mrs. Choi crossed her arms, disappointed in the childish behaviour she was witnessing.

"Don't 'hey mom' me! I was worried sick Soobin." she snapped but everyone could hear the concern in her voice.

Jaewon bit her lip, watching the mother and son interact while hiding behind Yeonjun's tall figure.

Even though Soobin was being scolded, she felt a sudden rush of jealousy.

Jaewon wished she had a mother....or anyone, to scold her the way Soobin was being scolded. She wished someone was mad at her, or proud of her, or teaching her things the way parents should be doing.

The girl looked away from the scene and instead chose to observe Soobin's house while Yeonjun stepped back and stood beside her.

"You okay?" he whispered into Jaewon's ear and the girl flinched, surprised.

A few thoughtful seconds of silence passed before she replied, "I'm fine."

Yeonjun shook his head and turned all the way to look at Jaewon straight in the eyes.

"You know you can talk to me right?"

Jaewon sucked in a sharp breath.

Yeonjun's was staring down at her, blue hair a mess and brown eyes dark, filled with care. His pink, plump lips practically shone under the sunlight from outside the glass windows as the thought of kissing them filled the girl's head.

"I...I know." she stuttered, her voice coming out unseasy.

Sometimes Yeonjun was a bit too handsome.

Yeonjun smiled, oblivious to her flustered state. He noticed the sad expression Jaewon had when she watched Soobin and his mother and he knew what that meant but he couldn't pinpoint the fact Jaewon was a blushing mess and he definitely had no idea why.

Giving another warm smile, Yeonjun turned to face the rest of the group of friends and Jaewon followed, breathing deeply as she tried to calm her racing heart.

"YOU BULLIES!" Huening Kai yelled as he chased the group across his backyard.

Jaewon and Sofia stood by the side, watching the whole scene with amused expression on their faces. Soobin and Yeonjun were running while Taehyun just shook his head from the other side of the yard, annoyed himself for being left behind by Soobin but also satisfied with watching Huening Kai get revenge.

"WHY ARE YOU CHASING ME?" Yeonjun cried out loud, tripping over his feet and landing face first on the grass.

Soobin tripped over Yeonjun's long legs and ended up falling over as well on top of the older, leaving both confused and groaning in pain.

Jaewon stood up straight in shock and immediately ran over to check if they both were okay, Sofia rushing behind when she noticed Soobin with an agonized expression on his face.

"Are you okay?" Jaewon asked, falling down next to Yeonjun and grabbing his hand to help him up.

"I'm fine." the blue hair boy laughed, awkwardly rubbing his neck with his free hand and staying seated on the ground.

Huening Kai stood, now beside Taehyun, with a guilty expression on his face, as if it was his fault they tripped. With a silent sigh, he mumbled a "don't leave me behind again" before running into his house to pick up snacks or in other words, to avoid the situation.

"Someone tell him we're sorry." Yeonjun chuckled, fake pouting.

"Idiot, are you you hurt?" Jaewon interrupted, almost glaring as she attempted to pull Yeonjun up.

Yeonjun fake cried, grabbing Jaewon's hands and pulling her down straight onto his lap as he sat straight. At the bold move, everyone gasped, including Jaewon who turned red at the action.

Soobin glanced at Sofia, lowkey wanting to do the same thing to her before mentally slapping himself at the thought. Sofia caught him staring and blushed, looking down at her feet which were shuffling side to side.

"Come on." she finally muttered, reaching her hand out to Soobin after debating about it.

Soobin instantly blushed, surprised by the move but also giddy imagining holding her hand despite the fact they had already done it before.

"Okay." he grinned and took her outstretched hand.

With a smile on both their faces, the left to join Huening Kai and the snacks inside the house, Taehyun silently following as no one seemed to acknowledge his presence.

"Come on Yeonjun, let go!" Jaewon frowned, trying to push herself of the boy and leave but he simply wouldn't budge.

"No." he simply said before resting his chin on Jaewon's shoulder.

The girl struggled to not blush but the Yeonjun was making life extremely difficult.

"Please?" she finally asked, even going as far as to pout but still the boy said no.

"I don't want to go." he grinned, amused by seeing Jaewon struggle.

"Why the fuck not?" she asked, finally giving up and throwing her hands into the air.

She crossed her arms and turned her head, facing Yeonjun just so that the boy knew she was glaring. But, upon realising how close they actually were, she blushed and pushed herself a little back, leaning away from the blue hair weirdo.

Yeonjun didn't reply to anything the girl said. All he could do was stare at her pretty brown eyes. A thought flew into his head and he blinked, suddenly awkward as he thought more about it.

Why weren't he and Jaewon together yet?

They had kissed...more than once. They had many moments together, knew many things about each other, and most importantly; they liked each other.

"Jaewon." he quietly muttered.

The girl nodded, refusing to look at his direction and fuel the blush on her cheeks. To check that Yeonjun really knew she was listening, she hummed a yes. Yeonjun sighed before pulling Jaewon closer towards him. She flinched, startled by the sudden move. Deciding not to hold it back anymore, Yeonjun spoke, surprising Jaewon immensely.

"Why aren't we together yet?"

The girl's eyes widened, a small gasp leaving her pink lips as her brain completly stopped.

The question was so random, something she hadn't even stopped to think about. Sure Yeonjun made many moves to indicate he wanted them to be together but circumstances had never let her think too much of it.

Now, he was just directly asking her.

"W...What do you mean?" she nervously chuckled, avoiding eye contact before answering "We are together."

Yeonjun rolled his eyes, shifting the position of the girl on his lap so that she was forced to look at him. Holding onto her waist tightly but making sure not to hurt her, he glared at her with a look saying 'you know what I mean'.

"I...I don't know." she finally muttered in response.

Her eyes finally caught Yeonjun's and she saw a flash of hurt and surprise shine through, confusing her.

Beomgyu had been the only boy who had ever asked her out. Beomgyu had been Jaewon's first love, her only boyfriend.

How was she supposed to understand all this stuff?

Yeonjun stared at her for a second before letting go of her. Startled, Jaewon hesitantly climbed of his lap and stood up, the blue hair weirdo following afterwards. Giving a thoughtful look, Yeonjun sighed at Jaewon before opening his mouth and voicing his question.

"Do you like me?"

Jaewon blinked, cheeks turning a bright shade of red as she almost violently nodded her head.

"Of course!"

Despite expecting this answer, Yeonjun's eyes still widened and his own cheeks turned a shade identical to the girl's but a little bit paler towards pink. Biting his plump lips, he leaned towards Jaewon who froze in shock.

"Will you go out with me?"
