“You’re too arrogant, think you can escape responsibility just because I’m not around?” Yin Zhen retorted.

He slowly walked toward the wall-mounted safe.

Yin Zhen stopped speaking and watched his movements.

Yin He turned around abruptly and saw her slowly pulling out a pistol from her bag, the cold, black muzzle pointed at him.

A shiver ran down Yin He’s back, his mind went blank.

Yin Zhen’s eyes were cold as frost as she cocked the gun.

“You ultimately die from your own arrogance.” Yin Zhen said coldly, with a tone of mockery, “Before you tried to kill me, didn’t you check whether your weapon was still there?”n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

“You’re just trying to scare me,” Yin He pretended to be calm, his hands, clenched in fright, shook almost imperceptibly, “When did you sneak into my room and take it?”

Why, why was his pistol in Yin Zhen’s hands!

Yin Zhen did not bother arguing with him, pointing the gun at him, she commanded, “Drink the water in the cup.”

Yin He remained still, in a standoff.

Yin Zhen fired a shot above his head and cocked the gun again, pointing it straight at his face, “Guess where my next shot will be?”

The pistol was loaded with bullets; it wasn’t just for show.

Yin He shakily lifted the cup.

There must have been something added to the water, but he didn’t know what.

As Yin He’s thoughts raced, Yin Zhen noticed and threatened, “If you dare to shake and smash the cup, I dare to shake and pull the trigger.”

Yin He’s plan was seen through, and he could find no way out for the moment.

She didn’t return home but went straight to the media, exposing one by one Yin He’s misappropriation of company funds, illegal competition, and other despicable acts hidden from the public, effectively whipping his reputation posthumously.

She even revealed the truth that Grandpa Yin intended to conceal for Yin He.
