Chapter 1341
The Almighty Dragon General
âThea, you should follow James. He must be exhausted and probably needs someone to care for him.â
Despite what she said, Maxine was well aware that Thea was an ambitious person. Even if she had not
told Thea to do so, she would still use the Celestial Sect to cause a commotion.
âOkay.â
Everyone nodded together.
Maxine said, âAfter the Chamber of Commerceâs establishment, I plan to have the Cadens leave the
Orient Commerce to throw people for a loop. This will cause others to surely panic and worry about
other problems that may crop up. This will be the best time for James to shoot.â
She continued to analyze the situation. âJames, you canât hesitate. You must resolve all the problems
as soon as possible. The longer you delay, itâs more likely that accidents will happen. During this
period, we need to find out who the members are of Orient Commerce as well as the relationships they
have with each other. Itâll be important to investigate the associated people and collect evidence so we
can convict them when the time comes.â
âAlright.â James nodded.
It was the best solution at the moment.
However, James only had the Red Flame Armyâs intelligence network to investigate things in the
Capital. To add to the issue, internal relationships within the army were also complicated. He might
alert the forces involved if he used the armyâs connections to investigate things.
As such, it would be unwise to rely on the Red Flame Armyâs intelligence network.
He would only be able to use Jayâs underground intelligence network, the Dragon Palace founded by
himself, Blakeâs Dark Castle, and his grandfatherâs God-King Palace.
James ordered, âThea, inform the people of God-King Palace to gather in the Capital and look into the
relationships of the members within Orient Commerce.â
âAlright.â Thea nodded.
James also called Blake and asked for the results of the investigation on Delilah.
Unfortunately, there were no results from Blake yet.
âContinue to investigate and follow up on any leads you have. Also, send your people to the Capital.â
âJames, my subordinates canât carelessly expose themselves. How am I supposed to bring them to the
Capital? Weâll be arrested long before we set foot inside,â Blake replied reluctantly.
âIâll pull some strings for you, but remind your subordinates to keep a low profile and not cause trouble
in Sol. Iâm sure you know the consequences if they step out of line.â
âWell, that makes it much easier then.â Blake chuckled.
James hung up on Blake and proceeded to call May, one of the Elite Eight, to ask about Delilahâs
whereabouts.
Though, the time given to them to investigate was not enough. The Dragon Palace had just been
established not long ago, and their foreign connections were not strong enough to locate Delilah in
such a short amount of time.
âContinue your investigations. I also need the Elite Eight to rush back to the Capital as soon as
possible.
Weâll have an important mission soon.â
âUnderstood.â
After calling the person in charge of Dragon Palace, James contacted Jake again.
âJake, Iâll give you an opening for your intelligence network to infiltrate the Capital. After that, wait for
my next instructions.â
James made several more consecutive calls and delegated more tasks. When he was finally done, he
took out a cigarette and lit it.
Thea asked, âJames, whatâre your next plans?â
While Maxine and Quincy were around, Thea did not call James âHoneyâ. Instead, she called him by his
name.
James thought for a moment and said, âIâll have to go to Eyrothia.â
