Chapter 1473
The Almighty Dragon General
James leaned on the bed, and before he knew it, he was fast asleep.
He slept for a long time and was woken up.
âJames, wake upâ¦â
James opened his eyes and picked up his phone. He looked and saw that it was already six in the
evening. He could not help asking, âWhatâs wrong?â
Thea said, âThereâs a visitor outside saying he has something to discuss with you.â
âWho?â
James turned around and got out of bed.
Thea replied, âI donât know.â
âAlright. Iâll go out and have a look.â
James got dressed, walked out of the room, and entered the living room.
Sitting in the living room was a man in his sixties. He was a slightly chubby man dressed in a brown
suit with short hair and a beard.
James walked over suspiciously and inquired, âYou are?â
The person sitting on the sofa stood up immediately and said with a smile, âHello, Emperor. Iâm White
Eagle, the Left Envoy of the Celestial Sect. My friends in the martial art world call me by the nickname
Eagle King.â
White Eagle beamed with a bright smile.
âWhite Eagle, the Eagle King? Left Envoy of Celestial Sect?â
James was increasingly perplexed by the situation.
He had nothing to do with the Celestial Sect, so why would their Left Envoy visit him?
He sat down and lit a cigarette. A few seconds later, he took out another cigarette and threw it to White
Eagle. He looked at White Eagle and asked calmly, âWhatâs the reason youâre visiting me?â
White Eagle said, âSo, the thing is, Iâve received orders from my Sect Leader to visit you. I am to fully
assist you in resolving the internal conflicts in the Capital.â
âYouâre going to assist me?â
James stood up in shock.
He was clueless about the Celestial Sectâs origin and strength.
All he knew was that the Celestial Sectâs leader was powerful.
Moreover, he was aware that the Celestial Sectâs members were all infamous martial artists that
practiced crooked martial arts.
The Celestial Sectâs leader brought this group of people together and recruited most of the ancient
martial world in just over two months. Even sects like the Mount Thunder Sect had surrendered to
them.
He was confused as to why the Celestial Sect would help him.
âWhoâs your Sect Leader? Why help me?â
White Eagle smiled and said, âI donât know either. Although Iâm the Left Envoy, Iâve never seen the
actual appearance of our Sect Leader. Only the Deputy Sect Leader has seen the Sect Leaderâs face.â
âAsk your Sect Leader to come to see me personally. Iâd like to talk to him.â
White Eagle shook his head and said, âIâm afraid that wonât be possible. The Sect Leaderâs
whereabouts are unpredictable, and no one knows where he is. If the Sect Leader wants to see you,
heâll come to you on his own terms.â
Hearing this, James pondered.
He tried to figure out why the Celestial Sect wanted to help him.
Who exactly was the Celestial Sectâs leader?
He had suspected Thea and Thomas before.
However, he had no conclusive evidence.
Now that the Left Envoy had appeared to show support, it further confirmed his conjecture that the
Celestial Sectâs leader was someone he knew well.
He could not help casting a glance at Thea beside him.
Thea sat quietly and carefully listened to the conversation.
James dispelled the speculation in his heart again.
He turned back to White Eagle opposite him and asked, âHow does the Celestial Sectâs leader plan to
help me?â
White Eagle said, âEveryone in the Celestial Sect will obey the Emperorâs orders.â
âAlright.â
James could not help laughing out loud upon hearing this.
No matter who the Celestial Sectâs leader was, it would indeed be easier for him to resolve the
Capitalâs problems with the help of the Celestial Sect.
White Eagle continued, âThe Celestial Sectâs disciples will make their way to the Capital in secret. Just
give your order, and three thousand martial artists will be ready to assist you at any moment.â
