Thea was puzzled.

What was Thomas trying to say? Could it be that he already knew her identity?

Thomas stretched and stood up. Then, he simply walked out of the house.

to him.

Callan stood up and said, “I’ll be taking my leave, James. You go along first. I’ll be there shortly.

However, I won’t show up unless the situation turns dire.”

“Mhm.” James nodded.

With Thomas and Callan helping him out in the shadows, there was nothing he was afraid of.

After they left, James have White Eagle a call and inquired him about the situation at the Celestial Sect.

“The Sect Leader has agreed to this. However, she’s currently preoccupied with something at the

moment. But, don’t worry, she promised she would be there to lend you a hand.”

Hearing this, James was at ease.

His grandfather alone could take on three Callans. Meanwhile, the Sect Leader of the Celestial Sect

alone could defeat the combined forces of Lucjan Owen and the First Blood Emperor. Not only that but

there were also Bennett Caden and other martial artists of the ancient martial world. Even if the Gu

Sect had set up a foolproof trap in Malgudi, James was unafraid.

Soon, Delainey arrived.

“James, the preparations are in order. All the martial artists have gathered at the Mount Thunder Sect.”

Malgudi.”

Thea nodded gently and said, “Be careful, alright? Remember not to overexert yourself. No matter

what, staying alive should be your utmost priority. I’ll be waiting for you in the Capital.”

James was confident that he could obliterate the Gu Sect. Even if Lucjan would not show himself, he

would deal the Gu Sect a devastating blow.

After saying that, he left alongside Delainey.

Meanwhile, Thea also prepared to set out. However, there was Delilah to worry about. How would she

explain herself when James questioned Delilah upon his return?

“Why are you staring at me, Thea?” Being stared at by Thea made Delilah blush. She hurriedly touched

her face and asked, “Is there something on my face?”

Thea recollected herself and said, “Now that James has left, there will no one here to protect you. I’m

worried that you might be in danger. After all, many people are trying to abduct you and interrogate you

about your father’s whereabouts. How about this? I’ll send you to the Cadens’ residence, and you’ll

stay there temporarily. How does that sound?”

Thea wanted to get Delilah out of the way. That way, she would be able to head over to Malgudi and

help James out in the shadows.

“Mhm.”

Delilah understood the severity of the situation. Since she thought that Thea was an ordinary woman

just like her, she believed that heading over to the Cadens’ residence was the safest option.

Then, Thea left alongside Delilah and headed to the Cadens’ residence.

At the Cadens’ residence…

Maxine glanced at Delilah before looking at Thea and asked, “What’s wrong?”

Thea said, “Since James is gone, I was worried that Delilah would be in danger at my house. So, I

brought her here. I’ll bring her back only when James returns.”

“Oh, I see.”

Realization dawned on Maxine’s face.

As she knew Thea’s identity, she knew what she was up to.
