It had only been a short while since they last met, but Tobias had already grown significantly stronger.

It seemed he had absorbed many people’s True Energy during this time, which allowed his strength to

increase exponentially.

Tobias’ heart was filled with nothing but hatred and bloodlust.

Thea was too strong and was a larger threat to him than even Thomas. She was the biggest roadblock

on his quest to conquer the world.

He was determined to kill her.

After he bellowed, a powerful energy erupted from his body, and he launched an attack.

The battle intensified.

The two exchanged hundreds of moves in mere moments.

Although it was hard to see who would come out on top, James could sense Thea’s energy slowly

seeping away.

In the distance, Thomas also secretly watched the battle.

Seeing Thea’s energy weakening, he frowned and murmured, “What’s going on? Isn’t Thea supposed to

get stronger as she fights? Why is her energy suddenly weakening during the fight?

“Could she have already absorbed all of the Spirit Turtle’s blood and turned its power into her own? Is

this her power’s limit without the additional boost from the Spirit Turtle?”

Thomas analyzed the situation.

He felt it was highly likely.

The Spirit Turtle’s blood fed on negative emotions to unleash great power.

Now that Thea had absorbed almost all of the Spirit Turtle’s blood, it had become part of her cultivation

base. Therefore, she could no longer borrow its power to enhance her True Energy.

“She’s around the Fifth Stair of the Skyward Stairway. Not bad.”

Thomas had a satisfied look on his face.

He was pleased with Thea’s current strength.

With time, it would be easy for her to become a ninth-ranked grandmaster.

After James watched the fight for a while, he vaguely understood the extent of Thea’s strength and could

no longer stand back as he watched her take on Tobias.

He could not let Thea continue to fight Tobias.

Thea and Tobias collided once more.

At that moment, James seized the opportunity and charged into the battlefield. He appeared in front of

Thea and held her hand.

“What’re you doing here? Get back now” Thea reprimanded him.

She thought James would not confront Tobias even if he had regained some of his True Energy. She was

so sure that things would end up badly for him if he were caught up on the battlefield.

Thea was worried, so she criticized him.

After scolding him, her expression softened, and she said gently, “Honey, you should leave first. I’ll surely

kill him.”

Thea was confident because her True Demonic Energy had strengthened to a terrifying extent.

The Murderous Energy she cultivated was also even more powerful.

Her Murderous Energy was invincible and would make killing Tobias a piece of cake.

James pulled Thea back and gently shook his head at her, saying, “Thea, step back. I’ll take care of it.”

“Nonsense! Do you know how strong Tobias is?”

While they were arguing, Tobias seized the opportunity.

He charged forward with his sword.

A Sword Energy materialized and hurled itself at James.

“Careful…”

Thea sensed the impending attack and shouted to warn him.

James calmly raised his hand and thrust his palm forward. A mighty burst of True Energy rushed forward

at the incoming Sword Energy.

His True Heavenly Energy caused the Sword Energy to explode and shatter instantly.

The next moment, James had already appeared behind Tobias and slammed his hand on Tobias’ back.

James’ movements were lightning-fast.

Before Tobias could react, he was already hit in the back by James’ palm attack.

The attack caused his Blood Energy to churn which made him vomit blood. He staggered, and almost fell

to the ground.

“What the-?”

Thea was completely dumbfounded after seeing James attack.
