Chapter 1574
The Almighty Dragon General
Mt. Thunder Pass had been demolished.
The cliff collapsed, and trees were uprooted everywhere.
About half an hour laterâ¦
Thomas was done treating Maxine.
He slowly placed Maxine on the ground, letting her lie on her side.
âHow is she?
âIs she alright, Grandpa?â James quickly inquired.
Thomas replied, âHer injuries are under control. Her life wonât be in danger for the time being. However,
the injury she sustained from the palm attack is quite severe, and itâll require a long time for her to
recuperate. Sheâll need constant True Energy to maintain the vitality in her body. Otherwise, she might
die any time.â
He turned to James and continued, âThe only thing that can save her is Crucifier.â
âAlright.â
James nodded lightly and said, âIâll go look for Crucifier as soon as possible to treat her.â
Maxine was taken hostage because of him and Thea.
James felt a little guilty.
âAlright, everyone, disperse.â
Thomas urged the martial artists around them to leave.
He scanned their faces until his gaze finally stopped on the Omniscient Deity. A faint smile slowly
formed on his face.
After that, he did not linger around and quickly left.
The Omniscient Deity watched Thomas leave. He stroked his chin and murmured, âWhat was Thomas
trying to signal?â
He was confused why Thomas smiled at him. There seemed to be something behind it.
What could his smile mean?
He could not figure it out and pushed the thought aside for now.
âJames, Iâll take Maxine back to the Capital first.â
Bennett left a word and left with the injured and unconscious Maxine.
The others left one after another.
Jackson and Delainey walked up to James.
The both of them could not help but cast a few glances at Thea.
Thea calmly stood beside James.
She was gorgeous. She was tall and had long, gray hair, which added to her beauty, making her look a
little more exotic.
âCongratulations.â
Jackson walked over, clasped his hands together, and said, âJames, congratulations on improving your
cultivation to a higher level.â
James smiled and said, âIt was just some luck.â
âGoodbye.â
Jackson did not stay long. After a brief conversation with James, he looked at the Omniscient Deity and
said, âLord Omniscient, till we meet again.â
The Omniscient Deity gently waved his hand and said, âAlright.â
Jackson left.
However, Delainey stayed behind.
Jackson had permitted her to get closer to James.
Delainey introduced, âMr. Caden, this is the Omniscient Deity of the Jade Sect, whom Iâve mentioned to
you before.â
Hearing this, James could not help but look at the Omniscient Deity.
He heard about the Omniscient Deity of the Jade Sect from Delainey before. They were a neutral force
that had wide intelligence networks spreading all over the world. It was rumored that there was nothing
in the world the Jade Sect did not know.
James had had plans to visit the Omniscient Deity.
Unexpectedly, the Omniscient Deity had personally come to Mt. Thunder Pass.
James parted his lips and greeted, âItâs an honor to meet you, Lord Omniscient.â
The Omniscient Deity waved his hand and replied with a smile, âIn the ancient martial world, strength is
everything. Iâm not worthy of your honor.â
James went straight to the point. âI have a question Iâd like to ask.â
The Omniscient Deity interrupted James, saying, âThe Jade Sect has a rule. If you want information
from us, you have to agree to one condition. The same rule applies to everyone. There arenât any
exceptions.â âWhatâs the condition?â James looked at him.
The Omniscient Deity said, âTell me what it is youâd like to ask first.â
James replied, âI want to know where Xavion is.â
He roughly explained Xavionâs situation.
âMany forces are looking for Xavion right now. However, no one can find him. Itâs as if heâs evaporated
from this world. The Jade Sect possesses the strongest intelligence network in the world, so youâd
surely be able to figure out his whereabouts, right?â
âIndeed.â
After hearing Jamesâ question, the Omniscient Deity replied, âSince youâve asked for him, Iâll find him
for you. However, I have one condition.â
âWhat is it?â
