Chapter 1668
The Almighty Dragon General
James returned to Common Clinic.
As he entered the clinic, he heard someone speaking on the phone.
âLove you! Mwah! Alright. I have to go. I heard someone coming back, it must be James. Iâm hanging
up now. Bye!â
Henry hung up the phone as James walked into the clinic.
He immediately stood up and asked, âHow did it go, James? Did you see Thea?â
âYeah, but I got kicked out.â
James sat down despondently.
âDonât worry, have some patience. If you donât mind me saying, James. I think your current appearance
isnât helping you win her back at all.â
âIs that so?â
Henry said, âOf course. Think about it, Thea has no memories of the past few years and only can
remember events from when she was eighteen. That meant her current mentality is of an eighteen-
year- old. What do you think girls around that age would like? They love clean and charming men. Look
at yourself. Youâre a mess.â
âYouâre right.â
James suddenly came to a realization.
He had not cut his year in the past year.
The following day, James headed out early in the morning.
He went to the hair salon, cut off the long hair he had kept for a year, and bought himself a white suit.
After dressing up, he instantly became much more attractive.
He followed Henryâs suggestion, went to the florist to buy 99 roses, and then went to a boutique to buy
some dresses that would fit Thea.
Then, he brought the gifts to Callahansâ villa.
It was almost nine in the morning when he arrived at the villa.
At that time, almost all the Callahansâ members were present.
When James arrived, he was welcomed warmly.
Gladys accepted the gifts happily and said with a smile, âItâs already enough that youâve come to visit.
You didnât need to get gifts for us. Weâre family. Thereâs no need to be so formal with us.â
âWhereâs Thea?â asked James.
âShe hasnât woken up yet. Iâll go get her.â
Gladys turned around and was about to head upstairs to call Thea.
Unexpectedly. Thea walked down the stairs.
She was dressed in white pajamas, and her hair was a little messy, but she had an adorable
appearance.
Since she had just woken up, she still looked slightly groggy.
âMom, who is it? Whatâs with all the noise?â
She turned to the guest and saw James sitting in the living room.
James had completely turned into a different person overnight.
Now, he had short, neat hair and was dressed in a white suit. James was a martial artist and could
discharge the impurities and melanin in his body, allowing his skin to become flawless once more. He
looked fair and trim, radiating a bright and handsome aura.
âMom, whoâs this?â
Thea did not recognize him.
James immediately picked up the flowers and handed them to Thea, who was walking toward them. He
smiled and said, âHello, Thea. These are for you.â
Initially, Thea wanted to refuse them, but since a handsome man had personally given her the flowers,
it was hard to refuse them. She shyly took the flowers from him.
âYouâre so beautiful, Thea. Youâre just like these flowers. Pretty and mesmerizingâ¦â
James began to compliment her.
These are words Henry had taught him last night.
He recited them to himself for a long time.
Although the cheesy words were painfully cringy, he went all out to appeal to Thea.
Hearing his compliments, Thea grew even more embarrassed.
âW-Who are you? Whyâre you giving me flowers on our first meetingâ¦â
Thea lowered her head and uttered softly.
âItâs me, James.â
âWhat?â
Thea immediately raised her head and looked at James. After scrutinising his face for a while, she
realised it was him and immediately pushed the bouquet back into his hands.
âWhy do you keep pestering me?! I donât need your flowers. Go away. I donât want to see you.â
Thea chased him out.
âThea, James is your husband. You should treat him better.â
âThatâs right, Thea. The Callahansâ success today is all thanks to James.â
âThea, James is an outstanding man! He used to be the Black Dragon of the Southern Plains, the
Dragon King, and even the Emperor! If he hadnât disappeared during the election, he wouldâve become
the King of Sol.â
âThatâs right. If he did not disappear, he wouldâve become king, and you wouldâve been his queen.â
The Callahans all took turns to convince Thea.
