Chapter 1823

The Almighty Dragon General

The man staggered backward. Soon, he reached a tree. He leaned against the tree and glared at

James in alarm.

James looked at him and uttered word by word, “I’ll give you a chance to speak. Who are you?”

The man took a deep breath and forcibly calmed himself down. Then, looking at James, who was

wearing a composed look on his face, he said, “You wouldn’t dare kill me, James.”

“What makes you think so?”

James’ expression darkened. Just because he did not intervene in others’ affairs, it did not mean that

he was afraid.

Sensing his killing intent, the man’s blood ran cold. “My name’s Damian Lamar I’m a disciple of the

Void Sect,” the man introduced himself.

“The Void Sect?”

James froze.

He had heard Callan mention the Void Sect before. It was a sect that had appeared out of nowhere just

a few days ago. Although it was a newly-established sect, it went around challenging various ancient

martial artists and defeating them. Back then, he did not pay it any heed. He did not expect someone

from the sect to appear before him and challenge him to a duel.

Furrowing his eyebrows, he asked, “What kind of sect is this? Where does the Void Sect come from?

Why did you challenge me?”

Damian wiped the blood trace off his lips and catalyzed True Energy to suppress the violent Blood

Energy inside his body. Then, he looked at James with a mischievous grin on his face, “An insignificant

guy like you has no right to know about the Void Sect. James Caden, I admit that you’re stronger than I

anticipated. However, I’m just an ordinary disciple of the Void Sect. There are many others who are far

stronger than I am. Just wait, there will be more powerful members of the Void Sect here to challenge

you.”

Then, Damian dragged his body and turned to leave.

James clenched his fists.

At that moment, he wanted to kill him.

Damion Lamar, a disciple of the Void Sect… This man possessed enormous strength. Though he had

yet to reach the threshold for the ninth rank, he had ascended the Ninth Stair. Even amongst Solean

ancient martial artists, he would one of the most powerful individuals.

James took a deep breath and forcibly suppressed his killing intent. Since he knew nothing about the

Void Sect, he should not act recklessly. After all, he would be in big trouble if he provoked even

stronger enemies.

So, he watched Damian leave.

After he left, Callan appeared.

“James.”

“Mhm.” James looked at the approaching Callan.

Callan said, “I quickly made my way here after sensing a battle. When I saw the two of you fighting. I

simply watched from afar. I didn’t expect the Void Sect to come for you too.”

As Callan had overheard James’ conversation with Damian, he knew that Damian was a disciple of the

Void Sect.

He asked, puzzled, “What exactly is the Void Sect?”

James shook his head slightly and asked, “Callan, you’re much more well-informed than I am. Why

don’t you tell me about the Void Sect’s actions in Sol over the past few days?”

“We’ll talk while we walk.” Callan made a welcoming gesture.

Meanwhile, James turned to look at his car in the distance. Since the road was destroyed, he could no

longer drive

He waved his hand, and the Primordial Dragon Blade flew toward him. Holding the Primordial Dragon

Blade in his hand, he followed close behind Callan.

Callan said, “Though the Void Sect only emerged recently, they have challenged many sects. They first

went for the Sylvan Sect, then the Heaven and Earth Sect, and finally the Mount Thunder Sect.

Everyone was defeated. That guy called Damian is extremely powerful too. Any other martial artist at

the Ninth Stair wouldn’t stand a chance against him. He was unfortunate to have met you.”

Hearing this, James asked, “Did Damian go after the other sects or are there others like him out there?”

Callan said, “I think they split up. After all, the Void Sect managed to challenge many sects and families

and emerged victorious.”

Hearing this, a chill ran down James’ spine.

If that was the case, the Void Sect was a force to be reckoned with
