Chapter 1848
The Almighty Dragon General
With Theaâs support, James left Mount Bane.
Tyrus also accompanied him.
After leaving Mount Bane, James deliberately slowed his pace, waiting for the other martial artists to
leave first.
When everyone else had left, he stopped in his tracks and turned to Tyrus, asking, âWhat did you give
to me just now?â
James already knew that it was a spiritual fruit that was formed after the seal started breaking. The
Empyrean Spiritual Energy from the Sealed Land began to leak out, and some plants on earth mutated
as a result.
However, he pretended not to know anything because he was unsure of whether Tyrus knew about the
seal.
Tyrus said with a smile, âThereâs a lot more you have yet to know, James. However, itâs not the time for
you to know yet. Donât rush back to Cansington. Come with me to the Southern Plains. Thereâs
someone Iâd like you to meet.â
James asked warily, âHmm? You want me to see someone in the Southern Plains?â
âYouâll understand when youâre there.â
Hearing this, James looked at Thea
Thea understood his intentions and immediately said, âItâs alright. I can return alone.â
âNo. Iâll get Grandpa to escort you back.â
James planned to head to the Southern Plains but was worried about Thea
After thinking about it, he still felt that it was ill-advised.
He would blame himself if something were to happen when Thomas was escorting Thea. Since it only
took a few hours to arrive at the Southern Plains via plane, he came to a decision.
âYou should come with me instead.â
âAlright.â Thea nodded.
Although Theaâs due date was approaching, she showed no signs of going into labor anytime soon. It
seemed that their baby would not be born in the next few days.
After concluding their talk, the trio headed to the Southern Plains together.
Tyrus led James and Thea to a cliff on Mount Thunder Pass in the Southern Plains.
Thea had been to this place before.
Back then, she followed Tapio to this cliff and even headed in to explore further. However, there was a
magic circle at the bottom, so she quickly turned back since she knew nothing about magic circles or
how to handle them.
James looked at Tyrus and asked, âWho are we here to see?â
âYouâll know when you see him.â
With a flash, Tyrus jumped from the cliff and arrived at the bottom.
James looked at Thea, asking, âWill you be able to keep up?â
Thea smiled and said, âWhy not?â
She mobilized her True Energy and followed Tyrus down the cliff.
James followed closely behind her
Soon, three of them landed at the bottom.
The placeâs layout was strange. It was thanks to the extraordinary formation that surrounded the area.
Without any understanding of formations, one would die after being trapped and drained of their energy
With Tyrus leading the way. James and Thea easily passed through the formation and entered a
natural stone cavem.
The cavernâs entrance was rather small, but the interior extended in different directions. There was
even an underground palace within.
Jamesâ curiosity about the person Tyrus wanted him to meet was piqued.
However, Tyrus remained tight-lipped about it, so he did not inquire further.
With Tyrusâ guidance, James and Thea reached the deepest part of the underground palace, where
there was a cell with iron bars. A single person was within the cell.
Tyrus stopped in front of the cell.
Although it was a cell, a decently clean room was inside it.
There was a woman in a white dress and long hair seated on a chair. Her eyes had a far-off look as
she stared at nothing in particular
âSir?â
With doubt on his face, James asked, âWhoâs this? Why did you bring me to see her?â
âHer name is Xandra Lafleurâ
Tyrus looked at the person in the room.
Unbeknownst to James, this was not a prison.
