Chapter 1861
The Almighty Dragon General
In just three years, she had climbed to the position of director.
James looked at the time. It was almost noon.
âIâve always remembered that I still owe you a meal. Do you have time today?â James smiled.
He was embarrassed to seek out Quincy.
Whenever a problem arose, he always sought her help.
This time, it was a critical issue that impacted humankindâs survival.
Thus, he had to shamelessly come to see her.
Quincy looked at the time and hesitated briefly. Then, she said, âI originally had a meeting, but since
youâve come all the way to Cansington to treat me to a meal, itâs impolite of me to refuse.â
With that said, Quincy stood up and gestured to James. âLetâs go.â
James stood up and left the office with Quincy.
Inside a private room in a high-end western restaurant in Cansington, Quincy brought her glass of red
wine to her lips and took a sip. âGo ahead. Tell me whatâs going on.â
âItâs nothing. I just came here to catch up with you.â
âDo you think I canât see through you? If you really have nothing to tell me, then Iâll take my leave.â
Quincy smiled faintly and was about to stand up.
James promptly stopped her and said, âI do have a small favor I need from you.â
Quincy took another sip of wine and looked at James, waiting for him to continue.
James said, âI plan to return to society. Iâll be returning to Cansington and declaring Dragonvilleâs
independence. Iâm going to establish my own country.â
âWhat?â Quincy stood up in shock.
âDonât freak out. Just sit down and listen.â
Quincy sat down, eyed James skeptically, and asked, âAre you joking?â
âDoes I look like Iâm joking to you?â
âThings are uneventful now, so why are you suddenly declaring Dragonvilleâs independence?â
âOur earth is changing.â
Jamesâ expression became serious.
He immediately explained everything about the Sealed Realm and his plan after declaring Dragonvilleâs
independence.
Quincy listened carefully to him.
Jamesâ story sounded straight out of a sci-fi novel.
It would be an interesting story if he had turned it into a book.
However, Jamesâ serious expression did not seem like he was merely telling a joke.
She was an intelligent woman, so she did not ask about what happened. Instead, she went straight to
the point. âWhat do you need me to do?â
James said, âI need you to regain control of New Era Commerce. Without hurting Solâs economy, you
need to transfer a suitable amount to the Southern Plains. I need to develop Southern Plains as rapidly
as I can.â
âI need Dragonville to be completely transformed in ten yearsâ time.
âBy ten years, I need to form a brand new country so that Soleans have a measure of security in the
future.â
âTime is very limited, so Iâll need help from as many people as I can get. Money alone isnât enough. Iâll
also need professionals such as architects and et cetera.â
Hearing Jamesâ words, Quincy nodded without hesitation. âAlright. Iâm in.â
James sighed in relief after Quincy agreed to help.
âBy the way, how are you and Thea doing?â
Quincy had that question on her mind since she first saw James, but she did not know how to bring it
up.
She was curious about James and Theaâs relationship.
âWeâre doing great. Thea just gave birth,â said James.
âWhat?â
Quincy was taken aback. She asked, âAre you serious? So, do you have a son or daughter?â
âA daughter.â
âCongratulations.â
âWhat about you? How have you been all these years? Did you get married yet?â
âMe?â
Quincy shook her head lightly and said, âI havenât met the person for me yet. Anyway, Iâm not
particularly in a rush. After all, Iâve already taken the dragonâs blood and am immortal. I have a long
time, so Iâm sure Iâll find someone suitable.â
