Chapter 1974

The Almighty Dragon General

Delainey murmured and did not say anything more.

The plane soared through the sky quickly and soon landed in Lothian.

Lothian was a country established by the Prince of Orchid Mountain.

The country was also run by an absolute autocracy where the emperor had full control.

After the two alighted the plane, they headed directly to the Lothian Palace.

When they reached the palace gates, Lothian guards barricaded their path.

Ć¢Ā€ĀœState your identities. The palace is off-limits to outsiders.Ć¢Ā€Ā

Delainey stood up and said, Ć¢Ā€ĀœI’m Delainey from Wyrmstead. I’ve got an important matter to discuss with

His Majesty.Ć¢Ā€Ā

The guard looked at Delainey and said, Ć¢Ā€ĀœWait here. I’ll go and report your visit.Ć¢Ā€Ā

The two waited patiently at the palace gates.

At that moment, Langston was lying feebly in bed inside a room in the Lothian Palace’s backyard. His

face was pale, and he was breathing very weakly.

Tyrus mobilized his True Energy to treat Langston’s injuries.

After a while, he stopped.

Ć¢Ā€ĀœFather.Ć¢Ā€Ā

Tyrus said worriedly, Ć¢Ā€ĀœYour injuries have worsened again. We can’t just wait idly. We have to find a way

to heal your injuries as soon as possible. Otherwise, your life is going to be in grave danger.Ć¢Ā€Ā

Ć¢Ā€ĀœHuff,Ć¢Ā€Ā Langston heaved a sigh.

It had been six months since he sustained these injuries.

Tyrus had constantly been using his True Energy to prolong Langston’s life in the past six months.

However, doing so merely meant extending his life and not treating the injuries.

He was aware of the severity of his injuries.

If no cure was found soon, he was going to die.

Langston sat up with difficulty.

Tyrus immediately helped to prop him up.

Langston leaned on the bed and asked, Ć¢Ā€ĀœBy the way, what has Xandra been up to these days?Ć¢Ā€Ā

Tyrus replied, Ć¢Ā€ĀœThe Empyrean Spiritual Energy on Earth has been revived. She has keen senses and

left saying she’d find a magical item to treat your injuries.Ć¢Ā€Ā

Ć¢Ā€ĀœHow’s her condition?Ć¢Ā€Ā asked Langston.

Tyrus said, Ć¢Ā€ĀœShe’s quite stable. As long as she doesn’t use her True Energy, she won’t become

demonized.Ć¢Ā€Ā

Langston said worriedly, Ć¢Ā€ĀœHer condition is the same as Thea’s. I’m not afraid to die, but I’m worried

about her. She has suffered a lot in these long years.Ć¢Ā€Ā

At that moment, there was a knock on the door.

Tyrus walked over and opened the door.

A guard knelt on the ground and said respectfully, Ć¢Ā€ĀœReporting! A man and woman have shown up

outside. The woman claimed to be Wyrmstead’s Delainey and requested an audience with His

Majesty.Ć¢Ā€Ā

Ć¢Ā€ĀœOh? Delainey?Ć¢Ā€Ā

Tyrus was slightly surprised and said, Ć¢Ā€ĀœI’ll see her.Ć¢Ā€Ā

After speaking, he turned to Langston and said, Ć¢Ā€ĀœFather, some people from Wyrmstead have come to

visit. I’ll go and meet with them.Ć¢Ā€Ā

Ć¢Ā€ĀœGo ahead.Ć¢Ā€Ā Langston gently waved his hand.

Tyrus turned and left.

Soon, he arrived outside the palace.

He instantly spotted a man and woman chatting joyously. When he saw the man’s appearance, he was

dumbstruck.

Fearing that he was hallucinating, he rubbed his eyes.

Ć¢Ā€ĀœJames?Ć¢Ā€Ā

With a shocked expression, he walked over and took James’ hand, exclaiming excitedly, Ć¢Ā€ĀœIs it really

you, James? You’re still alive!Ć¢Ā€Ā

Ć¢Ā€ĀœMhm, Uncle,Ć¢Ā€Ā James greeted him.

Ć¢Ā€ĀœHaha! KidĆ¢Ā€Ā¦Ć¢Ā€Ā

Tyrus laughed ecstatically and patted James’ shoulder. He said excitedly, Ć¢Ā€ĀœI knew you wouldn’t die so

easily!Ć¢Ā€Ā
