“Mhm.” James nodded.

James knew he had to cultivate diligently.

As long as the Celestial Abode had no owner, he would not give up.

After Marcello bid farewell, he turned and left.

James stayed behind and caught up with some of his friends.

“Have you seen Maxine, James?”

Two slender and beautiful women walked out of the crowd.

It was Tiara and Cynthia.

Seeing James, Tiara lowered her head shyly and did not speak.

Cynthia was the one who spoke first.

“Maxine?”

James was taken by surprise by the question and said, “I didn’t see her.”

After hearing his reply, Cynthia’s brows furrowed, and she said, “That’s strange. Where could she have

gone? We thought she went to see you.”

James asked, “What happened?”

Cynthia explained, “A few months ago, there was a post on the Martial Arts Forum claiming to be you.

Maxine wanted to verify it and ascertain whether you were still alive. She left Cansington at night and

came to Mount Bane. However, there has been no news from her ever since, and her phone has been

turned off.”

After hearing the explanation, James said, “There shouldn’t be any danger if she saw my post before

coming to Mount Bane. I’ve already reached an agreement with the Overworld Outsiders at that time,

so Earth’s martial artists are able to freely enter Mount Bane. She must’ve left because she had

something important to do.”

“I hope so.”

Cynthia wore a solemn expression. She had a sinking feeling that Maxine had gotten into some trouble.

“Guys, I’ve other matters to deal with, so I won’t hang around Mount Bane any longer. I’ll see you guys

next time.”

James bid farewell.

“James…”

Thomas called out for him.

James turned to him and asked, “What’s wrong? Did you need to tell me something else?”

Thomas asked, “How can I enter the Celestial Abode?”

James replied, “There is a Spirit Tool within the Celestial Abode. You’ll need its permission to enter.”

Suddenly, the Celestial Abode’s golden door slowly opened. A shadowy figure emerged and said,

“Sorry for the long wait.”

After the shadow appeared, he said, “The Celestial Abode is officially open to challengers. Regardless

of strength, anyone can enter the Celestial Abode to challenge the nine barriers. The person who

completes all nine barriers will become the Celestial Abode’s owner.

Everyone clamored excitedly when they heard this.

However, James’ brows furrowed together.

He already knew what it was like in the Celestial Abode. Earth’s martial artists were still comparatively

weak. Even if they were to enter the abode, they most likely would fail.

James reminded them, “Guys, the Celestial Abode’s barriers are dangerous. You might lose your life if

you are not careful.”

“It’s fine. I just want to head in to have a look.”

Many people replied him.

Hearing their insistence, James did not stay to persuade them.

He bid farewell to Cynthia and Tiara.

“Tiara, Cynthia. You two, be careful. I still have other matters to attend to, so I’ll be returning to Lothian

first.”

“Okay.” The two women nodded.

True to his word, James did not stay much longer and quickly left the area.

His goal was to return to Lothian and bring his mother, Xandra, to the Chamber of Scriptures’ custodian

to purify her Demonic Energy.

James knew the Chamber of Scriptures’ custodian was peerless. She was a powerhouse that survived

since time immemorial. He wanted to ask to guide and teach him for the next few years. Then, he

would return to Mount Bane to conquer the Celestial Abode.
