Chapter 2147

Miguel felt squashed by the force and fell from the sky, slamming into the rubble below him.

James descended from the sky and steadily landed on a rock.

An old man covered in blood crawled out from the rubble before him.

It was Miguel.

Sacrilegious Ascension was indeed formidable. James could crush all his opponents with the power of

heaven and earth. Although Miguel was at the Immortal Ascension’s Third Stair, he could not resist the

force and sustained injuries.

He glared at James as he struggled to get up, and roared furiously, “You f*cker! I want you dead!”

Suddenly, he cast his secret art, and his aura grew more potent.

He was on the Immortal Ascension’s Third Stair but could forcibly increase his rank to the Immortal

Ascension’s Fourth Stair. His aura grew considerably.

“Die!”

Miguel bellowed with a ferocious expression.

A long sword manifested in his hand, and a Sword Energy rushed at James.

James’ body flickered, and he reappeared in the distance, having successfully dodged the attack.

The sky darkened, and the grounds trembled as the sword attack was unleashed. The immense force

destroyed the surrounding area, causing rocks to explode into dust and trees to be reduced into

splinters.

“He became a lot stronger.”

James appeared in the distance and smiled faintly.

After his first attack missed, Miguel raised his long sword and launched several fierce attacks

consecutively. His speed became much faster after forcibly increasing his rank.

James defended against the attacks.

Their Sword Energies clashed, and countless Sword Lights burst forth.

The surrounding area was constantly destroyed.

After fighting for a while, James gained a better understanding of his own strength. Upon activating

Sacrilegious Ascension, his strength was slightly higher than the Immortal Ascension’s Fourth Stair.

That being said, he would not be a match for someone at the Immortal Ascension’s Fifth Stair.

Miguel had casted a secret art to forcibly increase his rank.

it. For some time, James would in a weakened state. If a powerful enemy appeared right now, he would

be doomed.

Fortunately, he already killed Cloyd, and there were no other enemies around their vicinity.

Half an hour later, James was fully recovered. He stood up from the ground and smiled at the

immobilized Miguel. Then, he said, “You would’ve died by now if it weren’t because you’re keeping the

Targwyns hostage in the Dark Keep.”

“Hmph.” Miguel snorted coldly.

James ignored him.

Then, he teleported Laelia out of the Celestial Abode.

When she saw Miguel laying miserably on the ground, her pretty face was shocked.

Miguel was the Dark Keep’s Master and his strength was renowned in the Land of Tabal. How could he

have lost so easily?

Remembering that James owned the Celestial Abode, she quickly dismissed her doubts.

When she was transported into the Celestial Abode previously, she was dumbfounded.

She never expected James to have such a supranatural treasure.

James looked at Laelia who was stunned and said with a smile, “Princess Laelia, I’ve subdued the

Dark Keep’s Master. If you have any questions, go ahead and ask him.”

Laelia came to her senses.

Her heart boiled with rage as she thought of the slaughtered Tabalham citizens.

She drew her sword and pressed it against Miguel’s neck, hissing furiously, “Where are my parents,

brother, sister, and other relatives?”

“If you’re going to kill me, just do it. Why waste time on such nonsense?”

After being defeated, Miguel was resigned to his fate.

“Are you going to be stubborn about this?”

A maleficent smile crept on James’ face as powerful Demonic Energy materialized out of his body.

Black Energy oozed from James and formed a black lotus.

As soon as the black lotus appeared, Miguel felt its oppressive aura and his heart began beating wildly.
