James did not expect the providence to appear so soon.

He had traveled to Bane City to inquire about the providence that would appear after the First Calamity.

Afterward, he planned to train in seclusion within the Time Chamber for some time to improve his

strength to compete for the providence.

Unexpectedly, the providence appeared just as he arrived on Mount Bane.

At that moment, light rays were bursting out from Mount Bane. Not only that, but numerous light rays

were bursting out from all over the earth, and many unknown regions concentrated with Empyrean

Spiritual Energy appeared.

James asked, “Ms. Sophie, is the providence here? What’s the providence that appears after the

calamity? Why are so many Outsiders so eager to obtain it?”

In his mind, Sophie’s voice sounded. “I don’t know what the providence is. However, it’s definitely very

extraordinary. It should appear in a few more days because the Empyrean Spiritual Energy on Earth is

just beginning to rise. It will emerge when the Earth’s Empyrean Spiritual Energy is strong enough.”

Sophie was unsure what it was, but she had a rough idea since she was a powerful subordinate who

used to serve Emperor Jabari.

“Alright.”

James did not ask any more questions.

He entered Bane City and went to Marcello’s mansion.

Marcello was the only person he knew in Bane City. Thus, she was the only person he could see.

Many guards surrounded Marcello’s mansion. They were all cultivators from the Demon Realm.

Although their strength was relatively weak amongst those in the Demon Realm, they were

powerhouses on Earth.

They were only slightly weaker than the geniuses from the Three Thousand Worlds.

“Mr. Caden.”

Seeing James, the guards greeted him respectfully.

James had visited before, and Marcello was very friendly to him. Thus, the guards did not dare to

neglect him.

“I’m here to see Marcello.”

“Go ahead.”

The guards made a welcoming gesture.

James entered the mansion.

Another guard walked over to him and offered a slight bow.

James asked, “Is Marcello here?”

The guard replied, “Ms. Marcello is in the backyard.”

“Alright.”

James nodded gently and walked toward the backyard.

Marcello was sitting with Jace in a gazebo in the backyard. When she sensed James

approaching, she immediately stood up and greeted him from far away. “James, I’m over here!”

James strode over and looked at Marcello and Jace. He asked with a smile, “What’re you two talking

about?”

Marcello looked at James and said, “We’re talking about the providence after the calamities. We also

talked about you.”

Shocked, James asked, “What did you two say about me?”

Marcello replied with a smile, “We talked about your physical body and the Demonic Lotus.”

James sat down.

He did not know whether Marcello already knew that his body was made by the Demonic Lotus left

behind by a powerhouse of the Demon Race.

He could not help asking, “What’s wrong with my Demonic Lotus?”

Marcello said smilingly, “James, we’re from the Demon Realm. You don’t have to hide it from us. I know

your body was reformed with a Demonic Lotus. It used to be one of our family’s member’s Natal

Primordial Spirit.”

“So?” James looked at Marcello.

“Forget it. Let’s not talk about this for now.”

Jace parted his lips and changed the subject. He asked, “What are you here for, James?”

Since Jace changed the subject, James did not pursue the topic any further. He replied, “I came to ask

about the providence. I wasn’t expecting such drastic changes to take place over all the Earth upon

reaching Mount Bane.”

Jace said, “It’s the signs before the appearance of the providence. My teacher told us that unknown

regions will appear on Earth before the providence arrives. Earth’s area will continue to expand, and

Empyrean Spiritual Energy will continue to rise. When it’s strong enough, the providence will emerge.”
