through.”

James spoke nonchalantly. However, Melany knew that only James was qualified to make such a bold

claim.

Just as they were slowly traversing the forest, a voice came, “Stop right there, you two.”

James and Melany turned their heads as a figure descended from the sky before them.

He was wearing a green robe, and a sheathed sword was hanging on his waist. Though he was rather

ordinary-looking, he exuded a somewhat charismatic aura. The words ‘Welkin Academy ‘were written

on the robe.

Seeing this, James immediately knew he was a disciple of the academy. He knew that he would

encounter many disciples along the way. That was because they were here to increase the difficulty

level of the examination and disqualify the weaker ones.
