Chapter 2395

The two simply laughed.

Lucifer laughed as he believed himself to be invincible within his rank. Wielding his father’s Imperial

Weapon, he falsely believed that he could defeat anyone. Now, however, he was defeated by a man

whose rank was considerably weaker than his. He was pleased to have such a powerful rival. Besides,

James’ body was reshaped by his father’s physical body.

James laughed because humans could live in peace from now on.

“James?”

Quincy walked over to James, who had a silly grin on his face, and tried helping him up.

James waved slightly, saying, “Let me rest.”

“Understood.”

Quincy retreated.

Some beasts also tried helping Lucifer up but were stopped by him.

The humans and beasts simply stood there and watched.

Not too far away. Yuvaan was furrowing his eyebrows. As James was currently at his weakest, this was

the perfect opportunity to capture him. Otherwise, once James’ injuries recovered, he would be in deep

trouble. Besides, James had the Infinity Steles that were capable of fighting the Imperial Weapon to a

standstill. How could he possibly stand a chance against him?

However, he did not make a move. Instead, he nodded at a human in the distance.

The human came from the Ancient Realm and was about thirty years of age. He possessed great

strength and was one of Yuvaan’s subordinates. As he seldom showed himself, no one knew of his

existence.

The man roared, “You massacred my family, James! You’ll pay for this!”

As he said that, he charged toward James, hoping to take him away.

Swoosh!

There was a flicker. Then, a man appeared before James, blocking the aggressor’s path.

Wearing a black robe, the man looked about twenty-five years of age. Not only that, but he had a

somewhat handsome-looking face. His face darkened as he glared at the middle-aged man and

roared,” Get lost!”

He was Jace Sterling.

Sensing that someone was up to no good, Lucifer said, “If anyone dares harm James, the Hadean Clan

shall annihilate his entire sect!”

“Understood!”

A few powerful beasts said.

In the distance, Yuvaan furrowed his eyebrows as he walked over to them. Looking at Marcello and

then at Lucifer, who was lying on the ground, he said coldly, “This is an affair of the human race. This

doesn’t concern you. Please stay out of this.”

“Exactly! By cultivating the Demonic Arts, James is a traitor to the human race! He should pay for this!”

“Kill him!”

The people by Yuvaan’s side said.

James, who was lying on the ground, glared at Yuvaan and the others and silently cursed, “Once my

strength recovers, I’ll slaughter all of you!”

“James is a member of the Hadean Clan,” said Lucifer. “His physical body was reshaped by my father’s

Natal Primordial Spirit. He no longer has anything to do with the human race.”

Jace said as well, “He joined the Azurean Clan long ago. He possesses the token of a powerful

member of our clan.”

Jace and Lucifer shielded James.

Seeing this, Yuvaan’s hopes were dashed. Hence, he smiled faintly and said, “Since he’s joined the

Demon Race, he no longer matters to us. I’ll no longer concern myself with his affairs.”

As she said that, he turned to leave.

Marcello tossed a healing elixir to James and said, “Here. Consume the elixir to heal your injuries.”
