Chapter 2399

As James had been out and about all these years, he did not know that his daughter was a Grand

Supernatural.

“I don’t know what my Supernatural Power is.”

Winnie shook her head.

Then, she jumped out of James’ embrace and catalyzed True Energy, forming a scythe. The scythe

was black in color, and ancient inscriptions were circulating inside the scythe.

Winnie waved the black scythe and smiled, revealing her dimples. “As my True Energy increased, this

thing suddenly appeared in my body. I don’t know what it is either.”

James stared at the scythe.

He had no idea what it was.

“Winnie, follow me to the Celestial Abode.”

Perhaps Sophie would know.

Then, James brought Winnie and Callan into the Celestial Abode.

In the City Lord’s Mansion, Sophie’s expression turned grim upon seeing the black scythe in Winnie’s

hand.

James asked, “Sophie, do you know what this is?”

Sophie did not answer him..

Pensive, she furrowed her eyebrows.

About a minute later…

“The Scythe of Judgment.”

She uttered a few words.

“What?”

James did not understand the meaning of those words.

As Winnie was clueless as well, she looked at Sophie with a curious look on her face.

Callan did the same. However, though he had no idea what the black scythe was, he knew long ago

that Winnie was a Grand Supernatural.

Sophie shook her head and said, “I can’t be sure either. Wait here while I flip through the ancient texts.”

After speaking, she turned to leave.

Winnie looked at James with innocent eyes and asked, “Daddy, is something the matter?”

James patted her head and said, “It’s nothing, we just have to wait.”

Though Callan knew of the Celestial Abode’s existence, he had never been in it before. He scanned his

surroundings curiously and said, “Is this the Celestial Abode? I never expected there to be such a

treasure in this world. How rare…”

James said smilingly, “I consider myself fortunate to have obtained this Celestial Abode.”

Then, the two conversed.

Ten minutes later, Sophie was back.

The three stood up at the same time and looked at her.

James asked, “How did it go, Sophie? Did you find anything?”

Sophie nodded before glancing at Winnie with a weird expression on her face.

Winnie hurriedly hid behind James. James patted her head and said smilingly, “It’s alright.”

Then, he looked at Sophie and said, “Just cut to the chase.”

Sophie sat down and nodded slightly, saying, “After flipping through the ancient texts left behind by

Emperor Jabari, I can now confirm that this is the Scythe of Judgment.”

James listened intently.

Intrigued, Callan did the same.

Sophie continued, “In ancient times, there was a species that was held in high regard in this world.

They were called the Adjudicators, and their weapon was the Scythe of Judgment. With the Scythe of

Judgment, they can pass judgment on any living being that transgresses the Heavenly Path.”
