The custodian nodded slightly and said, “The demons aren’t an unreasonable bunch. In ancient times,

demons invaded the earth to unite the universe. It was done in accordance with the Heavenly Path.

The Ten Emperors of Earth learned about Heavenly Path’s rules and took the demons’ side.”

James was highly intrigued by the custodian’s description of past events.

“Ms. Custodian, why did the demons attack the Earth and why did the Ten Emperors side with the

demons?”

The custodian shook her head and said. “I’m uncertain of the reasons behind these events. I only know

it’s related to the Earth’s ultimate secret and concerns the origin of the earth and the universe. The

demons were merely acting in accordance with the Heavenly Path. Even if the demons hadn’t taken

action, the universe’s powerhouses would still have died regardless, and the earth would still have

been sealed.”

“It’s all in accordance with the will of the Heavenly Path.”

“The demons were simply upholding the Heavenly Path’s grand designs.”

Although the custodian tried her best to explain, it only served to confuse James even more. If

anything. it had only made his curiosity grow.

“Alright, that’s enough. These aren’t things you should concern yourself with right now. Although you

have the strength to kill Sages, you can only kill the lowest-ranked ones. There are many powerhouses

“How do I get there though?” James frowned.

He heard from Sophie that the Demon Realm was 300,000,000 light-years away from Earth-an

astronomical distance. He initially planned to quietly go to one of the realms within the Three Thousand

Worlds and cultivate there. Then, he would return to Earth when the Third Calamity began.

However, he might not return to Earth in time for the Third Calamity if he traveled to the Demon Realm.

“I can personally send you there. At the very least, I’m capable of opening a spatial passage for you to

travel to the Demon Realm.”

James did not doubt the custodian’s strength.

Since the custodian could refine the Demonic Lotus, she was at least on par with Sophie.

related to them. Right now, the Earth is too small for you. You’ll need to travel a bigger world.”

“The Demon Realm is very suitable for your continued growth.

“Moreover, you must experience more things and encounter more powerful people. After you go to the

Demon Realm, you’ll realize that Sages are among those on the bottom of the food chain there.”

The custodian continued to persuade him.

“Alright. Then I’ll go to the Demon Realm.”

After mulling it over for a bit, James nodded and accepted the suggestion.

“Mhm, good.” The custodian smiled brightly.

James asked, “Ms. Custodian, when will the Earth’s Third Calamity strike?”

The custodian replied, “Don’t worry. It won’t be happening anytime soon. You go and cultivate at ease. I

hope you’ll be strong enough to stand on your own when you return to Earth”

James was relieved at the custodian’s words.

The custodian asked, “When do you plan to leave?”

James replied, “I’ve already made arrangements for everything. If possible, I’d like to leave for the

Demon Realm immediately.”

He was about to embark on a new journey to the Demon Realm. Would he meet Maxine again there?
