avert the impending Third Calamity.

James scanned his surroundings again.

It was the first time James had come to the Demon Realm, and he knew very little about it. He had no

idea about the Demon Realm’s current situation, nor did he know where he was.

After looking around for a bit, he chose to dravel in a random direction.

It did not take long before he heard a commotion.

Suddenly, a huge explosion went off ahead of him. The ground shook, and the mountain range

crumbled to dust instantly.

Following the explosion, a terrifying force swept toward him like a tsunami.

“What the f*ck?”

James sensed the threatening force and backed away in fear.

Although he reacted quickly, he still ended up being struck by the force. Wounds covered his body and

he instantly turned into a bloodied mess. If it wasn’t for his Demonic Body, he would have died the

moment. the force made contact with his body.

Right then, a defensive force came out from his ring and protected him from the onslaught.

James hovered in the air and watched as the force swept past him.

Everything in the force’s path was obliterated.

Several million kilometers of land around the force’s epicenter was completely flattened in an instant.

Sophie’s voice echoed from the Celestial Abode. “It’s a fight between very strong people.”

“Huff!” James sucked in a sharp breath.

“How strong must they be to have such destructive power?”

Sophie smiled and said, “The road of cultivation stretches on endlessly. You’d merely be considered a

beginner in your current state. The Sage Rank you’ve heard so much about is actually at the bottom of

the ladder when it comes to cultivation.”

“Sages are only considered strong because of the unique situation on earth.

“You’re in the Demon Realm-the strongest among the Seven Realms of the universe. There’s an

abundance of exceedingly talented people here. I suggested going to Demon Realm because I wanted

“Ms. Sophie, could you tell me the ranks that come after the Sage Rank?”

James wanted to know what lay beyond. He only knew Grand Emperors were the strongest in the

Primordial Age. Unexpectedly, another rank beyond that appeared in the Primeval Age called the

Ancestral God Rank.

He was utterly clueless on matters relating to the other ranks.

Sophie’s voice came from the Celestial Abode again. “The Sage Rank consists of six main ranks,

which are further divided into thirty-six stages. The six main ranks are Sage, Sage King, Sage Emperor,

Great Sage, Holy Sage, and Divine Sage.

“The First to Sixth Stages encompass the Sage rank. The Seventh to Twelfth Stage is the Sage King

rank. Then, the Thirteenth to Eighteenth Stage falls under the Sage Emperor rank. When you reach the

Nineteenth to Twenty-Fourth Stage, you’re considered a Great Sage. The Twenty-Fifth Stage to

Thirtieth Stage is called Holy Sage rank. Lastly, the Thirty-First to the Thirty-Sixth Stage is when one

reaches the Divine Sage rank.”

“After the Sage Rank lies the Divine Rank.

“The Divine Rank is divided into three stages, called the Three Divine Stages.”

“After the Divine Rank is the Emperor Rank, which you already know about.”

James listened carefully to Sophie’s explanation on the cultivation ranks. After hearing there were still

so many ranks that he had yet to encounter, he was dumbfounded.

His current physical strength had reached the Mage Rank, and he could kill a Sage if he unleashed his
