Chapter 2657
The Almighty Dragon General
âThatâs my own problem, and it has nothing to do with you.â The Blademaster of Mount Grinch looked at
James resentfully.
James tried to placate him. âIâm sure youâve heard rumors that a fated one will appear in Sangria and
lift the curse. I happen to be the fated one from the legends. I can lift the curse and undo the Cursed
Seal on this planet. After I succeed, the curse on this planet will be gone, and there wonât be a limit on
the lifespan of living beings here. Youâll be able to continue living.â
The Blademaster of Mount Grinch looked at James and asked, âSo whatâs the reason you came to see
me?â
James said earnestly, âThe Crepe Myrtle Sword Pavilion plays an important part in lifting these curses.
The key to unraveling the secrets within the Crepe Myrtle Sword Pavilion is the Crepe Myrtle Divine
Sword which was lost long ago. I obtained a clue about its location being related to the Seafolk. I must
travel to see the Seafolk so that I can acquire the sword to lift the curse on this world.â
âYouâre asking me to lead you to the Seafolk just for the Crepe Myrtle Divine Sword?â
The Blademaster of Mount Grinch looked at James, and his expression became solemn.
James nodded and said, âYes. Of course, you can also refuse to help me. However, I wonât be able to
lift the curses, and it wonât be long before you die if you choose to not help me.â
The Blademaster of Grinch fell silent, contemplating whether to help James.
James was not in a rush and waited patiently for an answer. He was convinced the
Blademaster of Mount Grinch would eventually agree to help.
After all, everyone was afraid of death. James believed it was the same for the Bldemaster of Mount
Grinch.
After a while, the Blademaster of Mount Grinch looked at James.
With a troubled face, he said, âItâs not that I donât want to bring you there, but when I left the Seafolkâs
territory, I gave them my word not to disclose their home to others. If I break my promise, they will hunt
me down. The Seafolkâs strength is far greater than you can ever imagine.â
After hearing his concerns, James reassured him, âYou just need to lead us to their approximate
vicinity. They wonât know you were the one who lead us there.â
âThisâ¦â
Jamesâ words tempted the Blademaster of Mount Grinch.
The Blademaster of Mount Grinch stared at James. After a few seconds, he took a deep breath and
said, âAlright. Iâll lead you to them.â
It was pointless for him to keep his word since he was already approaching the end of his life.
To survive, he had no choice but to break his promise.
After the Blademaster of Mount Grinch agreed to help, James was relieved.
The Blademaster of Mount Grinch asked, âWhen are you planning to go?â
James said, âWe canât delay this matter and must depart immediately.â
âAlright. Let me just settle a few things here.â
The Blademaster of Mount Grinch walked toward his four apprentices and said, âIâll be leaving for some
time. You four head back to Mount Grinch.â
The four identical women replied in unison, âUnderstood.â
The Blademaster of Mount Grinch returned to James and said, âLetâs go.â Walganus and Yanina
observed James from a distance. Seeing that James had successfully persuaded the Blademaster of
Mount Grinch, the two eventually met up with them .
James briefly introduced his companions to the Blademaster of Mount Grinch.
The Blademaster of Mount Grinch was not interested in Walganus and Yanina. He nodded indifferently
and replied apathetically in acknowledgment.
Right after that, the group departed from the mountain.
Like Earth, most of Galileoâs surface was composed of large bodies of water with small swaths of land.
Only 0.0001% of the area was solid land, while the rest was the ocean. The vast oceans were
mysterious and full of dangers. Even a powerhouse at the Sage Rank could not fully explore their
oceans.
A few days later, the group reached a beach.
The Blademaster of Mount Grinch said, âThe oceans are full of danger, and death is only a small
mistake away. At our current level, it will take about three months to reach the Seafolk if we travel at full
speed. I also have a warship that can take us to sea but it will take us longer; probably somewhere
close to six months.â
