Chapter 2664
The Almighty Dragon General
The old man looked at James and the others but did not say much. He turned to the man in the golden
robe and ordered, âThe three of them are guests, so treat them courteously and donât neglect them. If
word gets out about your behavior, itâll tarnish the Seafolkâs reputation.â
The man in the golden robe replied respectfully, âUnderstood, Elder.ââ
The old man looked back at Jamesâ party and said, âPlease leave immediately after youâve restocked
your supplies.â
âYes, of course.â James immediately agreed.
The old man did not say much and quickly departed.
The man in the golden robe looked at the three and said calmly, âLetâs go.â
Then, he turned and walked into the island.
James and the others followed behind him.
The golden-robed man led the three of them deep into the island. Soon, they arrived at a city.
He said coldly, âYou can buy everything you need in this city. After youâve purchased your supplies,
please leave immediately. Or elseâ¦â James nodded.
Then, he observed the city.
The large city was very prosperous and was not that different from the cities of the outside world.
The man in the golden robe left after reminding them.
Walganus asked, âWhat now?â
James paused for a moment before saying, âDidnât you say those who cultivated the
Propitious Crepe Myrtle can sense the Crepe Myrtle Divine Swordâs presence? Letâs walk around the
island and see if Yanina can sense the swordâs energy.â
All James knew was that the Seafolk knew something about the Crepe Myrtle Divine
Swordâs whereabouts. As for where exactly it was located, James did not know.
âAlright.â Walganus nodded.
Afterward, the three quickly left the city to wander around the island.
The island was huge and much bigger than Sangria.
The three walked out of the city but immediately encountered the man wearing the golden robe.
He stood at the corner of the city gate and held a sword in both hands. He looked at
Jamesâ party and said coldly, âWhere are you three going? If you want to leave the city, you should
leave from the East Gate. What are you doing at the South Gate?â
James and Walganus exchanged a few glances.
They could sense the man in front of them was a powerful Sage and was at least at the Eighth Stage.
James walked over with a smile and said, âIâm James Caden. How may I address you, Sir?â
âYou donât have to know my name. You have only one day to get your stuff and leave our land,â said the
man in the golden robe.
James said smilingly, âI heard of the Seafolk before I embarked on my adventure to explore the vast
oceans. I heard that you guys isolate yourselves from the outside world and rarely leave your territory.
We actually came here to learn from the Seafolk.â
Walganus followed up, saying, âIndeed. I heard a cultivator had entered the Seafolkâs territory some
time ago and learned swordsmanship from your people. After he left, he went on to become a
powerhouse that ruled the world.â
âYouâre here to learn from us?â
The man in the golden robe looked at them and hissed, âWe Seafolk donât accept disciples from the
outside world.â
James asked, âThen how was the Blademaster of Mount Grinch allowed to learn the
Seafolkâs swordsmanship?â
The man in the golden robe was unwilling to continue the conversation. He raised his sword and said
defensively, âI donât know, but it doesnât change the fact that you only have one day here. If you arenât
gone tomorrow, Iâll personally throw you out of here.â
After the man finished speaking, he turned and left.
James was left helpless.
Walganus asked, âWhat should we do now?â
