James returned to the cave because he feared that something had happened to Xainte in the

Malevolent Demon Residence.

Seeing that Xainte was safe and sound, his heart was put at ease.

Many people were standing beside Xainte, including Yikron and Jules who had fought Xainte earlier.

Those that were in Xainte’s close proximity were all powerful people. As soon as James approached

her, Yikron walked over and stood in front of Xainte. He pointed at James and shouted,” Get lost.”

James looked at Yikron with a frown and said calmly, “Does this place belong to you? What right do

you have to order me around?”

“I’m stronger than you.”

Yikron clenched his fist and prepared to strike James.

‘What do you think you’re doing?”

Xainte quickly stopped him.

Yikron turned around and smiled at her. “Xainte, a piece of trash like him thinks he’s worthy of

approaching you.”

Xainte looked at him coldly. “It’s none of your business. You don’t have to interfere in my affairs.”

James took a deep breath. He knew that Xainte was one of the greatest prodigies of this age, and had

many people guarding her. He did not want to cause trouble for Xainte, since his identity as her father

was still hidden.

James stopped trying to get close to Xainte. Instead, he looked around and asked,

“Do you guys see anything unusual? What kind of pattern is this?” Unfortunately, James had a very low

cultivation rank, and no one wanted to speak with a weakling like him.

James asked around a number of times, but no one answered.

Jules sneered at him. “Ha.”

Yikron also regarded him with disdain. ‘This place is the deepest part of the Malevolent Demon

here?”

James ignored Yikron’s scathing insults and contacted Nova inside the Celestial Abode.

“Nova, what’s this?”

Nova stood at theCity Lord’s Mansion inside the Celestial Abode. He sensed his master’s surroundings

and observed the patterns on the stone wall. Suddenly, his face became solemn.

After a while, he said, “I don’t know what it is, but there might be someone who does.”

Hearing this, James was taken aback. He asked, ‘Who?”

Nova replied very slowly, “Emperor Jabari.”

James was stunned by his answer.

“Didn’t Emperor Jabari die in the Primordial Age?”
