James was eager to leave this bizarre world as well. He looked at Thea and asked, “Thea, do you

really not know how to leave this place?”

Thea shook her head and said, “Yes.”

James said, “In this case, let’s go separate ways and search around for any exits that we may have

missed.”

“Understood, Sir!”

Everyone obeyed.

Then, they went their separate ways and began searching around for an exit. However, no matter how

hard they searched, they could not find anything.

“Master James, we couldn’t find an exit.”

“What should we do now?”

Many Grand Emperors looked at James.

James sat on a stone. Since no one was able to find anything, there was nothing he could do.

Thea was sitting beside him, pensive. Suddenly, an idea flashed through her mind, and she said, “I

know!”

“What?” James turned around and looked at her.

Thea said, “We’ve searched everywhere, but there’s one place we skipped—the Sanctuary of

Darkness. My guess is that the exit is hidden there.”

James believed that this was possible. He hurriedly stood up and said, “What are we waiting for then?

Let’s head over to the Sanctuary at once.”

So, the powerful figures followed James and headed to the Sanctuary. Soon, they arrived outside it.

James, Thea, Xainte, and some of the more powerful ones, entered first and searched around the

place. As expected, they found the exit and left the Cursed World.

When they passed through the passageway and reappeared, they were outside the Malevolent Demon

Residence. Then, they hurriedly left the place. More and more living beings escaped the Cursed World

and arrived at this place before heading into the depths of the wilderness.

Outside the Malevolent Demon Residence, the Martial Reverend looked at James respectfully and

said, “James, this place isn’t that far away from the Paragon Sect. Why don’t you pay a visit there?”

James waved his hand slightly and said, “I won’t be going to the Paragon Sect. I have something else

to attend to.”

Hearing this, the Great Elder of the Paragon Sect stood up and looked at Xainte, saying, “Xainte…”

Xainte immediately understood what he meant. She looked at James and pouted. “The Paragon Sect is

where I grew up. Don’t you want to have a look?”

“Hmm…”

James scratched his head.

The Martial Reverend chimed in, “We still have no idea about the identity of the mastermind who

escaped. However, there must be a powerful force behind this incident. Though he has escaped, he

will surely make his comeback. Please follow me to the Paragon Sect where we can discuss our next

course of action.”

James thought about it and said, “I can pay the Paragon Sect a visit. But, I won’t be participating in any

discussions.”

James’ rank was insignificant, and he had no right to participate. Besides, he had to make his way to

the Elixir Pavilion to see if it was the one mentioned by Xandros Teagan. His current priority was to

search for the Ancestral God Rank Elixir. Though he could roughly guess that the Sanctuary of

Darkness was targeting him, this was mere speculation, and he did not wish to fight against such an

organization at this point in time.

Xainte smiled brightly and said, “That’s more like it! What about you, Mother?”

Thea smiled and said, “Since James is going, of course I’m accompanying him.”
