After a brief discussion, the two rushed toward the unknown area ahead.

Then, they walked into the dark mist.

Light was completely blocked out of the area, and it was impossible to see what was ahead.

Even using their Divine Senses, they could only detect a mere few kilometers around them.

“Sir, this place seems a little eerie.”

Nico’s hoarse voice was shaky in the darkness.

James whispered, “Be careful.”

Nico walked in front of James and carefully surveyed the surroundings.

The black mist around them contained corrosive power, which ate through James’ skin and slowly

melted his flesh.

Although the corrosive effect was gradual, James knew his body would eventually be destroyed if he

stayed in the area too long, leaving only his soul behind.

“This place is exactly as Emperor Jabari described. There’s only darkness and no light. The energy

here even has corrosive power.”

James said solemnly, “Be careful, Nico. We might’ve already entered the Dark World. Even if we have

yet to, the Azure Realm is still connected to the Dark World.”

“What exactly is the Dark World, James?”

Nico was a Fifth Heaven Grand Emperor but had never heard of or read of the Dark World in ancient

records.

James relayed the information he obtained from Emperor Jabari to Nico.
