What James deployed was his own power. His current power was a result of breaking and merging

sixteen Path Seals, buttressed by a Macrocosm Core.

The merging of these Paths exceeded Macrocosm Power, but could still not be considered Chaos

Power.

Now that James had some understanding of the many Paths and merged them into his own Path, he

created a powerful soldier. The soldier emanated an energy that made spectators’ blood run cold and

caused the entire Chessboard of Heaven and Earth to vibrate.

Mirabelle knew that James had cultivated the Chaos Path, but now that she saw a soldier materialized

by James’ own power on the Chessboard, she was immediately stupefied. Indeed, the Chaos Path

exceeded everything in the universe and was insanely frightening.

The other powerful figures only frowned their eyebrows. They had no idea that James had cultivated

the Chaos Path. Heck, they did not even know what the Chaos Path was. They could only sense how

uncanny James’ Path was.

“What Path is this?” The Omnipotent Lord’s expression looked rather serious.

He sensed an energy that was foreign to him in James’ Path. This Path felt illusory but also all-

Perhaps James’ power had already exceeded that of the Macrocosm Power. This power was beyond

the sum of innumerable Macrocosm Powers.

The soldier materialized by the Omnipotent Lord rapidly charged towards the city that James was at,

appearing just outside the city.

The soldier that James materialized appeared as well. He was the same as James, emanating

frightening powers.

At this moment, James’ soldier moved. He took one step and appeared in front of the Lord’s soldier.

These two forces came to grips with one another. It was a match between the Annihilation Path and the

Chaos Path.

The battle was frightening, emanating hair-raising energies.

Thump! The two soldiers attacked one another.

The Lord’s soldier’s physical body broke down immediately. In a very short amount of time, the soldier

shattered into fragments of the Law of Heaven, disappearing from the Chessboard. On the contrary,

James’ soldier remained unharmed.

“W-What?”

“He isn’t even a match for him!”

“One move and he fragmented the Path of the Omnipotent Lord?”

“What the Omnipotent Lord had cultivated was the Annihilation Path with the Nine-Power Macrocosm

Power. Yet, it was destroyed in one blow.”

“What Path has James cultivated exactly?”

All the figures left on the Chessboard were surprised. The powerful figures at the Ancient Holy Site

were shocked as well. James’ Path was too frightening.

“I-impossible.” The Omnipotent Lord faltered clumsily as if he could not accept what just unfolded. He

had cultivated the Annihilation Path and the Nine-Power Macrocosm Power, thus he ought to have no

worthy opponent.

Nevertheless, his Path was easily disintegrated. How was he to make of this?

As for James, he kept a calm expression. In terms of his comprehension of the Path, he was

undeniably above the Omnipotent Lord, but he might not be a match for the Lord when it came to one’s

true power.

However, the Chessboard of Heaven and Earth was precisely a site to compete in terms of one’s

comprehension of the Path, instead of fighting one another.

James’ Path surpassed everything in existence. Plus, he made notable comprehensions on the

Chessboard, which allowed him to also merge it into his own Path, fully defeating the Omnipotent Lord.

Even so, he had managed to comprehend something. He merged what he comprehended into his own

power, elevating it to a level much higher than before.
