As soon as they arrived at Mount Malevolent Moon’s gate, Xerxes appeared. Xerxes wore a black

robe. He glanced at James, and his brows furrowed slightly. However, he did not say anything and

turned to Sienna with a smile.

“You’re back, Sienna.”

“Yeah.” Sienna nodded.

Xerxes glanced at James again, then looked at Sienna, asking, “Why did you bring him to the Dark

World?”

Sienna said, “Your ancestor participated in the Dark Strife back then. You should know some details

about it, right? According to reliable sources, three hundred Ninth Stage Lords fought in the Dark Strife

and besieged a powerful person. She ended up severely injuring them.”

Xerxes’s smile was immediately replaced by a grim expression.

“I heard from others that this mysterious powerhouse was named Yukia. I brought James here to learn

more about her,” continued Sienna.

Xerxes’ frown deepened and he said, “I don’t know much about this. I’ll need to reference my family’s

ancient books. Perhaps I can find some records of her.”

Beaming gratefully, Sienna replied. “Thank you, Xerxes. I’m counting on you. It’s very important to me.”

Xerxes nodded lightly and said, “I’ll return to my family home to check on it right away.”

Sienna nodded in assent. Xerxes did not say anything more and disappeared in a flash.

Sienna invited James to Mount Malevolent Moon.

“Let’s go. You can stay here for now. Xerxes will return shortly.”

James said, “It’s fine, I’m not planning to stay here for now. I came to the Dark World to inquire about

Yukia and to look for a friend of mine. When I was inexperienced, he helped me a lot.”

“You mean Jabari, right?”

“Yeah.” James nodded.

“I’ll come with you.”

James shook his head and said, “I can go myself. The Celestial Abode I have contains traces of his

soul’s aura. As long as he is in the Dark World, I’ll be able to find him from the vestiges he left in the

Celestial Abode.”

Jabari and James had a teacher-student relationship but were also friends. James learned a lot from

JabarI. To him, Jabari was like his mentor. They experienced a lot together and were on friendly terms.

Jabari’s death deeply affected him. However, he was relieved after Jabari said he would head to the

Dark World. As long as Jabari was here, James was confident they would meet sooner or later.

into other Lords’ territory. If you do so, it’d be considered a hostile gesture in the Dark World.”

James nodded and said, “Alright, I understand. I’ll be careful.”

After speaking, he disappeared and embarked on his journey to find Jabari.

James was looking forward to meeting with his old friend.
