James’ body flashed, and he appeared above the ancient battlefield.

James glanced at the spatial barrier above him and raised his hand as a mysterious power gathered in

his palm. Then, his body became illusory and divided into thousands upon thousands of shadows in an

instant. These shadows performed different cultivation methods and attacked the spatial barrier in the

air all at once.

A crack appeared on the spatial barrier.

The surrounding shadows merged into one, and James’ body flashed as he entered the void, leaving

the fifteenth floor and heading to the sixteenth.

The sixteenth floor’s environment was the same as the previous one with the sole exception of the

spatial pressure. There were even fewer living beings here. There were about a hundred living beings

on the fifteenth floor and about twenty on the sixteenth. These living beings’ mastery of cultivation was

even more advanced and profound than the ones on the fifteenth floor.

Upon James’ arrival, he attracted the attention of the living beings on the sixteenth floor. Twenty gazes

were fixed on him, hoping to see through his strength. However, they could not see through James.

James scanned his surroundings. Under his sensation, he realized that this floor was full of Seventh

Stage Lords. With such strength, they would be able to wipe out whole universes with ease. They

would be top-notch fighters even in the First and Second Universes. James did not expect that there

would be so many powerful individuals hidden in the Ecclesiastical Restricted Zone.

James did not greet them but instead went straight toward the ancient battlefield and began

annihilating the shadows to obtain the mysterious cultivation methods and Supernatural Powers. In a

single breath, he annihilated thousands upon thousands of shadows and obtained their cultivation

methods. Then, he would head to a pavilion and enter a closed-door meditation.

The other powerful individuals paid no heed to him and concentrated on their cultivation. That was

because they were already on the sixteenth floor, and they wanted to reach the seventeenth as soon

as possible or even the eighteenth so that they could leave this place once and for all.

The cultivation methods of the seventeenth floor were even more mysterious. James only managed to

gain the right to break the spatial barrier after cultivating for a whole two hundred million years.

He entered the seventeenth floor, on which there were only three people—two men and one woman.

Their cultivation bases were extremely high. Two of them were Eighth Stage Lords and one of them

was a Ninth Stage Lord.

When James arrived, the three powerful individuals on the seventeenth floor appeared before him.

James looked at them.

One of the men was a sagelike elderly man wearing a gray robe. He clasped his fists and said with a

warm smile, “My name is Yahveh Zvonimir. I come from the First Universe, and I was abducted here

shortly after the First Universe was created.”

The other man was a young man wearing a black robe. He was not handsome-looking and only had an

ordinary appearance.

He looked at James and smiled, “Jehudi Driscoll comes from the First Universe as well. Just like

Yahveh, I was forcibly abducted here and have been trapped here since.”

The woman was glamorous-looking, and she wore a white dress that accentuated her slender and

enticing figure. She smiled bashfully and said, “My name is Yehosheva Bernadette. I come from the

Primordial Realm.”

The three were rather friendly to James, considering that they bothered to introduce themselves.
