Sienna’s subordinates exchanged confused looks. All of them had steeled themselves to die for Mount

Malevolent Moon. However, the tides of the battle were turned so quickly. A Divine Cow had single

handedly overpowered Thaine, one of the rules of the Dark World’s Nine Heavens.

Outside Mount Malevolent Moon, Xerses rushed over to James. He clasped his fists and said, “We’re

so fortunate you arrived in the nick of time, James. Otherwise, Mount Malevolent Moon would’ve been

razed to the ground.”

Sienna curiously stared at the cow standing next to James.

The Divine Cow returned to the size of an ordinary cow and stood silently beside James.

“Who is this, James?”

Out of curiosity, Sienna wanted to touch the cow’s head. However, Quiomars raised his head, bared his

teeth, and gave her a vicious look. This frightened Sienna and she quickly backed away as she eyed

the Divine Cow warily.

James ordered. “At ease, Quiomars.”

Quiomars did not respond and silently stood beside James.

James said, “Let’s talk about it inside Mount Malevolent Moon.”

“Okay.” Sienna nodded.

The group returned to Mount Malevolent Moon together.

Sienna sat in the highest seat of Mount Malevolent Moon’s main hall. James’ and Xerxes’ seats flanked

Sienna’s and were slightly below hers. Many Lords loyal to Sienna stood in the main hall. Despite

Thaine’s threat, they chose to stay behind to fight alongside her.

Before Sienna could speak, the Lords that had fled before returned to the hall.

“Lord Sienna, I actually know a lot of powerhouses in the Nine Heavens. In fact, I left to look for their

reinforcements.

I never expected you to know such a powerful man.”

“Indeed. I also left to find reinforcements.”

“I’ll live and die alongside Mount Malevolent Moon.”

The Lords that fled before the battle broke out began to offer up excuses. Sienna looked at them and

said calmly, ” Since you’ve chosen to leave, you no longer belong to

Mount Malevolent Moon. You’re not welcome here. Please leave at once.”

“Lord Sienna, please reconsider!”

“I’m nothing but loyal to Mount Malevolent Moon!”

When they realized they had been exiled, these Lords quickly insisted on staying and proclaimed their

loyalty toward Mount Malevolent Moon.

Xerxes said coldly, “When Mount Malevolent was in danger, all of you turned your back on it without

hesitation. Now that the danger is gone, you’re bold enough to return to us.

Mount Malevolent Moon doesn’t welcome people like you. We have no use for cowards.”

“Moo!!!!”

At the main hall’s entrance, Quiomars bellowed loudly. His loud lowing frightened the returning Lords.

Xerxes shouted ruthlessly, “Get out.”

Afraid to stay a second longer, the cowardly group quickly left the hall in despair. Soon, only those who

were willing to give their lives for Mount Malevolent Moon were left in the hall. Sienna looked at them,

stood up, and said, “I appreciate every single one of you. We got through this predicament because all

of you stayed to fight together. Most of you sustained injuries, so you’re dismissed to tend to your

wounds.”

“Yes, Lord Sienna.”

“We’ll take our leave first, Lord Sienna, Lord Xerxes.”

These Lords bid farewell and turned to leave. However, all of them could not help but cast a glance at

James before leaving. They had met with James before and knew he was a human from the

Illuminated World. They also knew that Sienna had sent troops to the First Universe because of James.

They were not expecting him to be so powerful.

Although James did not display his own strength, the Divine Cow accompanying him was plenty

formidable. Thus, they could not help but wonder how strong James truly was.

These Lords were perplexed and were very curious about James’ cultivation rank.

After they left the hall, Sienna quickly stepped down from the highest seat. She walked to James’ side,

sat down, and held his hand joyfully.

“James, were you trapped in the Ecclesiastical Restricted Zone these few Epochs?”

Sienna was also curious about how James spent the past few Epochs and wanted to know more about

the Divine Cow following James. The Divine Cow boasted monstrous strength and was capable of

intimidating Thaine’s entire army into retreating.
