Chapter 3953
The Almighty Dragon General
As long as James could help him escape, Lord Samsong was willing to give him anything. James
taunted him. âDo you remember taking away the Light of Acme and leaving me to face the powerful
beast alone? I went through hell to kill that beast.â
Lord Samsong hurriedly explained himself, âYouâve got it all wrong! I actually wanted to go back to save
you, but I got trapped in a dangerous place and couldnât escape. If I could leave, I wouldâve definitely
gone back and helped you kill that beast.â
James did not believe a word from Lord Samsongâs mouth. He spoke nonchalantly, Tm giving you two
options.â
âWhat are they?â Lord Samsong looked at James.
James said, âIâll leave you to fend for yourself. In your current state, thereâs no way you can escape this
place.â
Lord Samsong hurriedly asked, âWhatâs the second option?â
James replied, âSubmit to me and obey my orders. If you betray me, donât expect a single shred of
mercy.â
âIâ¦â Lord Samsong hesitated conflictingly. He was a Ninth Stage Lord, and the ruler of Triple Star
Welkin which was one of the Dark Worldâs Nine Heavens. Having to submit to another was a fate worse
than death.
As he weighed his options, James turned around and left the area.
As soon as James had disappeared, Quiomars reapproached as a ferocious monster and charged
toward Lord Samsong. Terrified, Lord Samsong shouted hysterically, âDonât go, Forty-nine! Donât leave
me! Iâll follow your orders! Iâll submit!â
James smirked, turned around, and walked forward. He instantly appeared before Lord Samsong and
faked an attack against Quiomars, who was disguised as a monster. Quiomars followed his cues and
pretended to be blasted away.
James looked at Lord Samsong, sitting weakly on the ground, and said, âIâm warning you, if you dare to
disobey me, it wonât end well for you.â
After speaking, James raised his hand, and mysterious sigils materialized. The sigils sank into
Samsongâs body.
A mighty Lord like Samsong immediately knew what the sigils were for. James now had control over his
soul and would be immediately notified if Samsong harbored
thoughts of betrayal. In that event, James could set off the sigil, and blow Samsong to bits instantly.
Samsong was terrified as he realized the consequences. However, there was no backing out at this
point. He had no choice but to comply with James.
Samsong immediately pledged his loyalty, âI wonât betray you.â
James raised his hand, and a dazzling light emerged from his palm. A large amount of Life Power
poured out and was absorbed into Samsongâs body. His injuries were healed instantly, and he regained
his strength shortly after.
Samsong stood up, stretched his muscles, and asked, â Master, this is a very strange place. Are you
sure you can leave safely?â
James gently waved his hand and said, âYou donât need to address me as Master. My name is James.
You can just call me by name.â
Samsong replied, âAlright, Lord James.â
At that moment, Quiomars approached after returning to his original form. James hopped up and sat on
Quiomarsâ back.
Quiomars quickly galloped.
James said, âJust follow me, and youâll get out of this formation safely.â
Samsong glanced around him and shuddered after seeing the lingering souls in the distance. He
quickly followed behind James.
James rode on Quiomarsâ back, raised his hand, and a beam of light burst forth from his fingers to
bombard the lingering souls in the distance.
âAghâ¦â
Despairing screams resounded in the air. The lingering souls trapped in the formations were
obliterated. Samsong was terrified after seeing Jamesâ strength.
âHow strong is Lord James?â thought Samsong.
