Chapter 4099
The Almighty Dragon General
However, his palm seemed to be frozen in place, controlled by a powerful force. James did not wish to
bring about great destruction, so he simply dissolved Qaysâ power into nothingness.
âYouâ¦!â
Qays froze.
He tried to pull his hand back but to no avail.
James remained silent. The atmosphere was tense.
âPlease calm down, you two. Springwind Pavilion is the property of the Flying Feather Sword Master.â
Seeing that the atmosphere was tense, the person in charge immediately mentioned the owner of this
place.
The Flying Feather Sword Master was a powerful figure. Although he was considered a nobody in the
Stone Realm, he was one of the most powerful people in this city and planet.
Qays, however, could not care less. To him, the Stone Race called the shots around here.
âI donât care who you are, kid. But since you have antagonized the Stone Race, you are dead meat.â
âWho says?â
At that moment, a melodious voice came from the door. Then, a gorgeous woman walked in, and
behind her was a group of guards. This woman was none other than Leilani Amani, the Princess of the
Angel Race whom James encountered in the Thala Realm.
Leilani walked in and scanned her surroundings.
Upon seeing Leilani, Qays immediately quieted down. Even though he seldom left the Stone Realm, he
had heard of the Princess of the Angel Race. Although Leilani herself was only at the Quasi Acme
Rank, her father was one of the most prominent figures in the Greater Realms.
âPrincess Leilani.â
Qays opened his mouth. However, he spoke with great difficulty. Sweat beads began to form on his
forehead.
Upon seeing Leilani, James froze and murmured silently, âWhy is she here?â
Then, he dispersed his strength.
As Qays had been bitterly resisting Jamesâ power, he stumbled backward when James dispersed his
strength.
âWhy are you here, Forty-nine?â Leilani looked at James.
James said smilingly, âI have been wandering about in training. Surely it isnât strange for me to end up
in the Stone Realm. As for you, Your Highness, why are you here in the Stone Realm when you are
supposed to be on Mount Eden in the Thala Realm?â
Leilani did not respond to the question. Instead, she scanned the foyer and asked, âWhat happened
here?â
James said, âI was upstairs having a drink when I saw someone committing vulgar acts. So, I
intervened.â
Qays did not expect James and Leilani to be acquaintances.
Upon seeing Leilaniâs gaze, he immediately explained, âYour Highness, I was only going to execute a
human when he intervened.â
Hearing this, Leilani glanced at James puzzledly, seemingly confused over why James would intervene
to help a human. Among the races in the Greater Realms, the Human Race was the most insignificant.
They were
like rats in the world James was in.
James also knew how the Human Race was perceived in the Greater Realms. He simply explained,
âAll living beings are equal in my eyes.â
âAlright, you are dismissed.â Leilani waved at the surrounding people. Then, she looked at Qays and
said, âSince Forty-nine has intervened, spare the human. You are not allowed to cause any trouble to
the human in the future.â
âY-Yesâ¦â
Qays hurriedly nodded.
âScram.â
Leilani said coldly.
Qays did not dare refute her and hurriedly fled.
Xandrella looked at James in gratitude. James waved at her and said, âYou should leave.â
Then, he looked at Leilani and asked, âWhy are you here?â
