Chapter 4182
The Almighty Dragon General
Wyot was the Doom Raceâs hope. Therefore, many of the Dooms were relieved after Wyot returned
safely to them.
Although the Grand Patriarch was still alive, he was injured during the battle that happened in the
Primordial Realm. Back then, he was besieged by the Human Raceâs powerhouses and sustained
severe injuries. Now, he was barely able to hold on much longer.
However, he used his potent cultivation base to maintain his life force because the Doom Race had not
yet given birth to a new powerhouse.
After Wyot returned, many powerhouses were at ease.
At the same time, there were also a few that had doubts about Wyotâs identity.
Wyot had fallen into the hands of the Heaven-Eradicating Sect. Logically speaking, he would never
have the chance to escape. However, he came out alive and returned out of the blue. Therefore, many
of the Doom Raceâs powerhouse were very suspicious of him.
The Doom Raceâs Great Elder, Youri, was the first to voice out his suspicion.
Youri had great authority in the Doom Race. Sometimes, even Dolph, the Doom Raceâs Patriarch,
could not refute him.
Inside the meeting hall on the main peak, Youri said, âThe timing of his return is too coincidental. He
returned right after the Soul Race accused us of uniting with the Human Race. For him to return while
there are so many strange rumors going around makes me suspicious that itâs a scheme by the
humans.â
Hearing this, Dolph said, âYou must be overthinking it. What ability does the Human Race have to
persuade Wyot to betray us?â
âI agree.â
âThat sounds outrageous.â
Many elders expressed their opinions, supporting Wyot.
Youri said, âI believe Wyot would never side with the humans. But what if the Wyot that returned to us
isnât real? What if heâs actually a human disguising as Wyot?â
Another elder immediately suggested, saying, âSince Elder Youri suspects that the current Wyot is fake,
letâs call him here and perform an examination to reveal the truth.â
âI agree.â
âThatâs a good idea.â
Many elders expressed their approval.
Youri looked at Dolph and asked, âWhat do you say?â
Dolph replied helplessly, âSince everyone agrees, letâs perform the examination. If heâs really a human,
Iâll personally get rid of him. However, heâs just returned home, so letâs allow him to rest for a bit.â
Youri said, âThat settles it. Weâll get him to go through an examination in a hundred years. Weâll publicly
perform the examination.â
âAlright, thatâs all for todayâs meeting.â
Dolph stood up, dismissed the meeting, and left the hall.
â¦
James was resting on Mount Doom.
Shortly after Yemimaâs departure, she came to see him again.
James was lying in bed, whereas Yemima was sitting on a chair beside him. She said worriedly, âElder
Youri is suspicious of your identity and wants to perform an examination on you in a hundred years.â
âHa,â James got up from the bed and sneered. He looked at Yemami sitting beside him and asked, âDo
you believe me?â
Yemima looked at him and said, âAlthough I never spent much time with you, Iâm familiar with your
aura. Why would I doubt you?â
James smiled faintly, approached Yemima, and sat beside her. âWhat do you think Elder Youri will do to
test my identity?â
Yemima said without hesitation, âItâs probably very straightforward. First, heâll most likely test your soul
aura. Secondly, heâll search your soul and check your memories. Thirdly, heâll want to see your Chaos
Power. Since Chaos Power is unique to the Doom Race, humans arenât able to cultivate Chaos Power.
Alsoâ¦â
After a slight pause, Yemima said, âHeâll probably test your physique and bloodline power.â
James smiled faintly and said, âIt seems Elder Youri isnât pleased that Iâve returned home. Perhaps he
arranged for my capture with the Soul Race so he could get rid of me. That way, he could elect his
candidate to take over my position.â
Yemima glanced at him and reminded him, saying, âYou shouldnât spout such nonsense. Itâs fine when
itâs just me, but donât say such things outside, alright?â
James replied casually, âItâs just us here anyway. Plus, Iâm just stating the facts as I see it. I wonât talk
about these things outside without conclusive evidence.â
âYou have a good rest. Iâll see you in a few days.â
