James unleashed all his strength and entered his strongest state.

The death spirit that was at the Eternal Boundless Rank was obliterated in the face of his might.

“What the hell?” The Devouring Demon’s expression changed.

He had heard of the Flame Art’s Three Fire Transformations before. It was an extraordinary

Supernatural Power created by a Caelum Acmean. However, he was unaware of the extent of its

devastating power since he was not from that era.

He roared, “Attack him together! Kill him!”

The Devouring Demon was mortified. The situation would grow complicated if James were to make it

out alive.

At that moment, the remaining 11 death spirits charged at James from different directions. The

remaining death spirits were all extremely powerful so James proceeded carefully. Even with his

physical strength, he would still be injured if they were to hit him.

Suddenly, the Devouring Demon also entered the fray. He held the sword formed by the Light of Acme

and dashed toward James. Before James could scarcely blink, the Devouring Demon had already

closed the gap. He was much more proficient in the Space and Time Path than James.

The gleaming long sword appeared in front of James before he could even react. James instinctively

destroyed him from within.

James sensed his life force being sapped away and felt as if he were rapidly aging. Horrified, he

immediately raised his hand to counter the attack. James’ flaming palm energy flew toward the

Devouring Demon.

The Devouring Demon had immediately retreated after successfully landing a blow on James and

easily dodged the attack. At that moment, the other 11 death spirits assaulted him mercilessly. His body

was blasted away and sustained even more injuries. James was struck over and over as his injuries

deepened.

James was incredibly strong and could stand toe-to-toe with Terra Acmeans. However, he was not

completely proficient in Paths and he had yet to reach the Acme Rank. The Devouring Demon’s Path

mastery was much higher which put James at a disadvantage.

James roared furiously, “F*ck off!”

He crossed his arms in front of his chest to shield himself. Then, he unleashed his Ignis Power at the

death spirits.

The death spirits cautiously avoided all of James’ attacks.

James quickly seized the chance to retreat and create distance between himself and the Devouring

Demon. Then, he mobilized his Life Path to treat the injuries on his body. Although his external injuries

recovered instantly, his internal injuries were quite severe.

The Devouring Demon also retreated away and observed James. He expected that his sword strike

would incapacitate James. However, his opponent was still full of vigor and able to fight. On the

contrary, James’ power seemed to have increased.
