Chapter 4269
The Almighty Dragon General
A few elders from other factions did not choose between the two.
Youri glanced at them and ruthlessly stated, âThose who donât side with me will be killed once I take
control of the Doom Race.â
Hearing this, the elders who wanted to stay out of the fight pursed their lips. They began to evaluate
each sideâs chances of victory, contemplating who to follow. Making a wrong decision would lead to
their deaths.
Dolph, on the other hand, remained silent. He did not pressure anyone or try to influence them.
âThe Great Elder is at the Omniscience Pathâs Ninth Stage. Heâs basically invincible at this point.â
âThereâs a better chance of surviving if we follow him.â
The undecided elders began to discuss in secret. After a short discussion, they chose to side with
Youri.
Youriâs side had an advantage in numbers.
At that moment, a loud voice came from a distant spiritual mountain.
âWhat the hellâs going on here?!â
A multicolored light shone from the spiritual mountain, and an old man could be seen sitting on it.
âCongratulations on leaving seclusion, Grand Patriarch.â
Everyone immediately greeted him respectfully. Even Youri and Dolph behaved courteously toward
him.
The old man sat among the multicolored lights.
The man was the Doom Raceâs Grand Patriarch, Hirah. However, it was not the real Hirah but Youriâs
subordinate, Lada in disguise. Lada was Youriâs servant. Ever since Hirah was injured in the battle in
the Primordial Realm, she had cared for him.
She understood everything about Hirah, especially his aura. Now that she was impersonating him, no
one could see through her disguise, not even Dolph.
Hirahâs body flickered and he appeared on Mount Chaos instantly.
He stood between the two factions.
âGrand Patriarch.â
Youri clasped his hands, and said, âEverything I did wasnât to create conflict within the clan. Iâm doing it
for our own good, and to ensure the Doom Raceâs prosperity for generations to come.â
Hirah looked at him and stroked his white beard. Then, he said, âIâm not faulting you for your actions,
Youri. I can tell youâre thinking of our raceâs prosperity.â
Then, Hirah turned to Dolph and asked, âWhen I passed on
my position to you, what did I tell you?â
Dolph replied, âI must guide the Doom Race to rise above the others and become the greatest race in
the Greater Realms. Also, that the Doom Race should conquer the Greater Realm, and have everyone
submit to us.â
Hirah asked, âDid you fulfill your duty?â
âNo.â Dolph lowered his head.
Hirah sighed and said, âWeâre from the same race, so thereâs no need for petty battles. Dolph, youâre a
good patriarch. With your leadership, the Doom Race has revived and prospered. However, youâre
nothing close to an outstanding patriarch. You have no ambitions and are no longer suitable to lead the
Doom Race.â
Dolph replied, âI understand and agree that I should step down. My son, Wyot, has accomplished many
things recently. He single handedly killed a Terra Acmean in the Ancient Realm. Even though his
cultivation rank is still lacking, he has great potential and is worthy of succeeding me as the Doom
Raceâs new patriarch.â
James also could not recognize that this Hirah was a fake.
Seeing Youri behave so respectfully toward the Grand Patriarch, James thought everything was going
according to plan.
He immediately stepped forward and said, âIâll definitely make the Doom Race superior to the rest and
weâll subjugate the other races.â
