James stared at the door for quite some time.

He asked curiously, “Sir Gaerel, where will I be sent to once I enter the realm? Also, where would I be

transferred once I pass a trial?”

Gaerel replied, “This door is both the entrance and exit of the realm. You’ll find the passage to leave

the realm each time you finish a trial. If you take the passage, you’ll exit the realm through this door.”

James could see several light beams coming from the inscriptions on the door projected onto the

ground. Those light beams formed a six-pointed star figure on the ground just a few steps away from

the door.

James showed no hesitation as he walked toward the door.

As soon as he stopped above the star, the formation beneath his feet started glowing.

Just then, James heard Gaerel’s voice coming from behind him. “Wyot, I almost forgot to tell you this.

Before you enter the Path of Heavenly Awakening, your aptitude, cultivation base, and cultivation rank

will be examined as the realm will generate the corresponding manual. Also, the difficulty of the nine

trials will increase by level as you go through the trials. By completing all nine trials of the Path of

Heavenly Awakening, one will prove to have the potential of achieving the Caelum Acme Rank.

“The highest level that our people have ever managed to clear is the sixth level or the sixth trial.”

“F*ck! You tricked me?!” James exploded into anger upon hearing those words.

could be seen on the door at that point.

The Ursa elders standing behind Gaerel were equally shocked.

of difficulty has never appeared even in our records ever since the creation of the Path of Heavenly

Awakening.”

difficulty.”

“He’ll probably meet some of the strongest cultivators that we are all familiar with. Who knows, he may

The Ursas were discussing excitedly amongst themselves at the unusual sight of the door.

At the same time, Youri was receiving reports of what was happening within the Ursa grounds in real

time.

“Sir Youri, Mr. Wyot is entering the Path of Heavenly Awakening now,” Qimat reported.

Youri stroked his mustache thoughtfully. “I never would have guessed that the Ursas were the

guardians of the Path of Heavenly Awakening. If it weren’t because of the issue with the humans, I

would want to enter and experience the realm myself.”

While everyone was staring at the door to the Path of Heavenly Awakening in awe, James could feel

his body being slowly lifted into the air and moved closer toward the door.

Suddenly, James sensed a great force pulling his body to the door. In a flash, James was sucked into

that huge door, vanishing before everyone else’s eyes.

The colors faded from the door the next instant. Even the six -pointed star figure had stopped glowing

and returned to its original position.

“Let us all wait here. The realm of the Path of Heavenly Awakening is strange and unimaginable. The

flow of time inside the realm is different from the outside world. For Wyot Dalibor, he may feel as

though he has been in the realm for hundreds of thousands of epochs when only a few hundred years

have actually passed in the outside world.”

“It’s a shame we can’t detect Wyot’s aura or see what happens when he is inside the realm. I’m really

curious about what he will encounter there.”

On the other hand, James had entered the realm of the Path of Heavenly Awakening. He looked

around and noticed that he was inside an unusual passage.

The passage was made up of strange, ancient inscriptions that were difficult to be deciphered even for

James who knew the Primal Mantra.

James reached for the passage walls and tore a piece of inscription. Then, he used his powers to

break down the inscription to its simplest form, a primitive inscription sigil.

Curiously enough, James could sense numerous forms of power from the inscription sigil.
