Three thousand years had passed while James refined the contaminated Karma Power.

When James was done, he closed his eyes and tried to locate Thea.

Although Thea deliberately hid her aura to avoid him, he easily found her whereabouts.

Thea had set up Devouring Formation in a desolate mountain range and was hiding within it.

Shortly after she completed the formation, a few dozen living beings wandered into the mountain

range.

The formation was triggered when the living beings entered the mountain range. Several Permanence

Acmeans had their Spiritual Powers sucked away, and only their bones remained.

Thea absorbed the Spiritual Power and murmured,” Wonderful.”

Sensing the energy in her body, she smiled with satisfaction.

“Show yourself, Witch!” A furious voice came from within the formation.

“You’re a coward, hiding in the dark! Come and face us!”

A few powerhouses trapped inside the formation taunted her.

The powerhouses were relatively strong and had united to kill Thea. The weakest was a Permanence

Acmean, and the strongest was a Terra Acmean.

Thea did not want to confront them head-on, so she set up a formation.

James had arrived just on time and witnessed the tragic death of several of the powerhouses.

Seeing even more lives taken by Thea, James was distressed. He pondered, ‘Thea is supposed to be

the Human Race’s matron. What kind of person was she before earning the title? How many lives has

she taken?’

James appeared outside the formation. He released his Divine Sense and quickly deciphered the

formation. He raised his hand, and powerful force erupted from his fingertip, instantly transforming into

magical inscriptions.

The inscriptions submerged into the formation and shattered it.

James walked over to the powerhouses and took a glance at them. Upon noticing a few skeletal

remains on the ground, he unleashed his Path Powers and resurrected the dead cultivators.

Since these cultivators were powerhouses, James had to pay a heavy price to revive them. At the

same time, the Karma attracted was much stronger.

Karma Power instantly shrouded him. Unable to withstand it, he spat a mouthful of blood and fell to the

ground.

Although he was in the middle stage of the Omniscience Path’s Eighth Stage and had a powerful

physical strength, he could not resist the Karma from resurrecting these powerhouses. Injuries began

Thea gritted her teeth and murmured coldly, “Damn it, James.”

She revealed herself in front of James and summoned her long sword. She thrust her sword forward

and pierced through his body.

As soon as the sword penetrated James’ body, several Sword Energies exploded within him.

James was severely injured and fell to the ground. He could not muster up any strength to get back to

his feet.

“None of them will be leaving today! I’ll be absorbing their Spiritual Power!”

Thea glanced at the powerhouses with a smirk.

The cultivators present were powerhouses, and absorbing their Spiritual Power would significantly

improve her strength.
