Chapter 4425
The Almighty Dragon General
The powerhouses were confused by Jamesâ explanation.
They began wondering whether Youri had already retrieved the last token from James and handed it to
Wyot.
Everyone exchanged perplexed glances at each other. Eventually, their gazes fixated on Xezal.
Gaerel said, âXezal, didnât you say James is impersonating Wyot right now? You should say
something.â
Under the countless gazes, Xezal stepped forward. She stared at James and said solemnly, âIâm the
personal maid of the Doomsâ Patriarch. Youri hasnât retrieved the last token from James. The Cloud
Raceâs token is still in Jamesâ hands. Since he has ten keys, it can only mean he is James
Caden.â
James pointed his finger at Xezal and shouted furiously,â Outrageous! You blatantly claim to be our
patriarchâs personal maid? As the Doom Raceâs Great Elder, how do I not even know about you? You
must be from the humans and came here to sow discord between the various races.
âMy fellow cultivators, what are you all waiting for? Hurry and take down the spy!â
The powerhouses were confused by the argument between James and Xezal. They could not trust
either of them.
A beautiful woman appeared amongst the countless powerhouses.
Her white dress fluttered with the wind and radiated with an ethereal aura. She stepped out of the
crowd and looked at James with teary eyes.
âA-Are you really James Caden?â Yemima was in disbelief.
She could not believe the man she had spent so much time with was a human.
Yemima knew that Wyot was aware of Xezalâs existence and that she was the patriarchâs personal
maid. She had a very high status within the Doom Race.
However, Wyot claimed not to know about her and accused her of being a spy.
Yemima could tell the Wyot before her was not
She questioned him again, hoping to prove herself wrong.
James shouted, âStep back, Yemima! You shouldnât interfere with Sir Youriâs plan!â
âYou were an imposter ever since you returned, claiming to have escaped from the humans! Everything
was a lie! You pretended to be Wyot, waiting to save Soren, right?!!!â
Yemima looked at James with teary eyes.
âI never expected you to have also betrayed the Dooms, Yemima!â
Jamesâ expression darkened, and a powerful aura emerged from his body. At the same time, potent
Chaos Power began
flowing through his body.
âI would not be showing any mercy just because youâre my wife, Yemima! If it wasnât because Iâm
dealing with an important affair for Sir Youri right now, I wouldâve killed you,â James spoke with hostility.
He had to stall for as much time as possible by gaining the trust present or making them fear the
Doomsâ powers and prevent them from taking action.
The powerhouses were unable to determine who was telling the truth.
Wyotâs Chaos Powers were indeed genuine, so it was impossible for him to be an imposter. Even Sir
Youri was unable to cultivate pure Chaos Power. Therefore, it was hard to believe a human could
possess Chaos Power.
The chances of Wyot being an imposter were relatively low.
Compared to Yemimaâs words, the powerhouses believed the Chaos Power Wyot had displayed.
Xezal watched as everything unfolded.
Clap! Clap! Clap!
She applauded and said, âI wasnât expecting you to be such a good actor, James. I was almost
convinced by your performance.â
Everyone turned to Xezal again.
Xezal continued, saying, âSo what if you open the formation and release Soren? Heâs no longer the
powerhouse he used to be in the past. Besides me, any of the patriarchs here can kill him.
âI was wondering how James managed to sneak into our territory and rescue the humansâ matron
without a sound. It seems Iâve got the answer now. Youâve been impersonating Wyot all along and
knew all our formations. Thus, you could wander around without alerting anyone.â
The patriarchs of the different races immediately came to a realization.
âSheâs right. I found it strange when I heard about James rescuing Thea from the Dooms. The Dooms
were the strongest in the Greater Realms, so how could a human come and go so easily? He must be
James and infiltrated the Dooms a long time ago.â
