Chapter 4537

The Almighty Dragon General

James and Lief continued chatting for quite some time. Eventually, they decided to head back to the

saintess’ spiritual mountains and left the restaurant together.

Inside a quiet manor located among the spiritual mountains belonging to the saintess, Saachi was

training inside a room.

She was glowing in a pure, white light from head to toe. The colors of her eyes took on a mysterious,

dreamy shade. It was as if one could see the enchanting view of the galaxies in within them.

All of a sudden, a burst of Sword Energy seemed to materialize before Saachi’s eyes, and it abruptly

stopped Saachi from using her powers. The magnificent colors faded from Saachi’s eyes almost

instantaneously. Blood oozed from the corners of her eyes as her irises appeared to turn dull and

murky.

As Saachi coughed up some blood, she lost her balance and fell onto the floor.

On the other hand, Leif had been waiting patiently outside since he sensed that Saachi was in the

middle of her training session. Upon hearing the noises, Leif hurriedly entered the room.

“Your Holiness, are you alright?” Leif asked anxiously.

Saachi wiped the blood off her lips with the back of her hand. Then, she slowly got to her feet. The lady

seemed like a celestial being who had fallen to the lands of the mortals as she had lost her usual

radiance and vitality at that moment.

Saachi nodded. “I’m fine.”

Leif did not dwell on the matter since he was well aware of her current struggles. He tactfully changed

the topic.

“I just met James Caden, and had a chat with him. The man is still wary of us since he hasn’t shared

anything of note about himself with me. However, I can tell that he probably has an impressive

background.”

Leif knew that James had not been completely truthful since he James, Leif had a rough idea about his

circumstances.

“It seems he truly hasn’t heard about you or your name, Ms. Saachi. My guess is that he’s probably a

member of a mysterious, hidden clan or organization from one of the other districts. Perhaps he hasn’t

heard of you since these organizations tend to limit their contact with the outside world. Judging by

that, James most likely isn’t associated with those from the Aeternus District.”

Saachi nodded. “Hm. In that case, you can just leave him be. However, we must stay cautious at all

times. If you catch him doing something that might put our universe in jeopardy, arrest him

immediately.”

“Understood.”

“Alright. You may leave now.” Saachi waved her hand lightly.

As Leif exited the room and closed the door behind him, Saachi’s face hardened into a conjured a book

with a black cover on her palm. There were no words printed on its cover.

While Saachi stared at the book, the past memories of a conversation she had with an elderly cultivator

flashed across her mind.

‘The wielders of the Dobro Eyes would grow to become matchless and unparalleled powerhouses.

However, the heavens have always been envious of those who are gifted with the Dobro Eyes.

Throughout this time, none of the owners of the Dobro Eyes have managed to unlock the full potential

and cultivation of their abilities. All of them have failed one way or another during their process of

learning and training.”

“If the powers of your Dobro Eyes are somehow destroyed someday, you may choose to turn the

Dobro Eyes into Damon Eyes. However, you’ll inevitably turn everyone against you, and you’ll be

alienated by the others for the rest of your life.”

‘Take this book with you. The choice is yours.”

Those words still seemed to ring in Saachi’s ears.

She had a torn expression on her face.

‘What would happen if I choose to wield the Damon Eyes?’ Saachi pondered.
