Chapter 4544

Despite being incredibly powerful, Leif was unable to withstand multiple opponents of a similar rank as

himself. At this point in the battle, he was already severely injured.

Saachi was also besieged by many powerhouses, and her white dress was stained red.

Many of her soldiers were mercilessly slaughtered.

The fierce battle continued in the Endlos Void.

James’ brows furrowed as he watched the battle.

Saachi’s enemies were powerful, and many of them had similar strength to him in his most potent

combat form.

James could not exert his full strength with the seal in his body. He could only mobilize the Bithe

Omniscience.

Unfortunately, his comprehension of the Blithe Omniscience was still lacking, and he was not confident

to even face one of the powerhouses around Leif, let alone all of them.

Initially, James had no intention of getting involved in Saachi and the Aeternus District’s conflict.

However, he could not bring himself to walk away since Saachi did indeed save him.

James activated the Blithe Omniscience and appeared in front of Saachi instantly.

Saachi held on to her long sword and kept slashing the void.

Several bright Sword Energies erupted, charging directly at her opponents.

Unknowingly, a man had already sneaked behind Saachi. He raised his broadsword and slashed a fatal

blow at her.

James appeared out of thin air and grabbed Saachi at the last second.

“Let’s go!” He activated the Blithe Omniscience again and disappeared with Saachi.

The attack missed its target, and the powerful force split apart the void.

James brought Saachi to an extremely remote area, and they were temporarily out of danger’s way.

Saachi was ragged and looked incredibly worn out.

Despite that, she growled at James, “Why did you save me?!! You should’ve let me be! I will go down

with my army!”

James let go of her hand, gestured toward the battlefield’s direction, and said, “Since you insist on

dying, go ahead. But think about who is going to avenge your soldiers. Who will avenge your father?”

Saachi immediately calmed down at his words.

“ARGH!!!” she roared in despair.

James said helplessly, “I’m sorry I couldn’t save your subordinates. With my current strength, I could

only get you out of there with my current strength.”

Unable to exert his full strength, James could only save one person.

“Please save Leif!”

Saachi looked at James pleadingly as if he was her only hope.

James frowned slightly at her request. He thought to himself,’ I should be able to save one more.’

“Stay here, and don’t go anywhere. I’ll be back very soon.”

James was not very close to Leif. Despite that, he felt that Leif was a relatively good person.

He activated the Blithe Omniscience once again and left the area. The next moment, he appeared on

the battlefield. He flashed before Leif grabbed his arm, and the two of them vanished.

Everything happened in the blink of an eye. Even the enemy army’s commander could not react in

time. He wanted to chase after Saachi and Leif’s auras, but James’ Blithe Omniscience left behind no

traces. Moreover, there were no Path Powers in the Endlos Void, making it impossible for him to locate

them.

The commander’s face darkened.

After Saachi and Leif escaped, their subordinates were quickly slaughtered.

After the battle ended, a soldier approached and reported, ” Sir, Saachi and Leif were rescued by a

mysterious being. We can’t trace their auras. What should we do now?”

The commander looked into the Endlos Void solemnly and murmured, “He did not use any Path

Powers, nor did he cause any spatial fluctuations. Yet, he easily slipped away from our grasp. Could he

be someone from the Welkin District?”
