Curious, James asked, “Why did the Saber Sect disappear?”

Waleria shook her head and said, “How would I know?”

James did not ask further since he could not get an answer.

The group continued advancing. Soon, they arrived at the Saber Sect’s main mountain.

From a distance, the mountain looked like a sharp blade inserted into the ground. It was surrounded by

unnoticeable Sword Energy. Unless one were a peerless powerhouse, it would be hard to detect the

Sword Energy around it.

James and his companions stood outside the main hall’s entrance, which had not been opened for

countless years.

James walked over, raised his hand, and tried to push the door open. However, the door remained

motionless.

He mobilized all his strength and attempted it again, but it was useless.

‘The door’s incredibly heavy.” James withdrew his hand and stepped backward.

After examining the door for a while, Waleria said, ‘There’s a restriction placed on the door. Normal

cultivators aren’t capable of opening it.”

“Is that so? How come I can’t sense the restriction?”

James scrutinized the door and tried to find the restriction.

However, he was to no avail. To him, the door seemed very ordinary and was not emitting any powers.

Waleria summoned a few mysterious inscriptions from her palm. The inscriptions floated over to the

door and submerged into it.

The door suddenly reacted. A few rows of words appeared and began circulating the door’s surface.

“It’s a Sword Seal.” Waleria immediately recognized the seal and said. The restriction need someone

with powerful swordsmanship to open it.”

“Someone with powerful swordsmanship? I fit the description.”

James smiled lightly and raised his hand. An illusory long sword manifested in his hand, and then he

mobilized all of his Sword Path’s Power.

His long sword grew brighter, and a powerful Sword Energy burst toward the door.

A terrifying Sword Intent emerged from the door and struck James.

The force blasted James away. He fell to the ground and spat out a mouthful of blood.

Waleria reprimanded him, “I said we need someone with powerful swordsmanship.”

James got up from the ground and said embarrassedly, ” Well, I thought I was a pretty skilled

swordsman.”

Waleria rolled her eyes and said, ‘You must have misunderstood what a skilled swordsman is. I meant

to say we need someone at least at the Caelum Boundless Rank.”

James replied helplessly, That means I’m far from becoming a skilled swordsman.”

He looked toward Waleria and asked, “So can you open it?”

“In my prime, yes. But now, no,” said Waleria.

James stopped asking questions and turned around, walking toward another area.

The Saber Sect used to be a powerful force in the past, and they definitely had great treasures left

behind in their ruins. James felt they would not necessarily be in the main hall. Thus, he wanted to

search the other areas.
