Chapter 465
The Almighty Dragon General
Quincy was afraid, too. She kept moving backward and got to the edge of the bed. Then, in a moment
of carelessness, she fell off the bed.
Lorne walked over to her and picked her up.
Quincy wanted to resist, but her body was still recovering from both the snake venom and Quentinâs
drug. She was still weak and could not muster the strength to fight back Lorne laughed.
âHaha! Can you not take it anymore, Quincy? Donât worry, Iâll make you feel good.â
He tossed her onto the bed, then started taking off his clothes. After that, he glanced at Thea, who had
grown pale, and smirked.
âDonât worry, itâll be your turn soon.â
James and May arrived at the hotel. James sensed something was off the moment they neared the
premises. He noticed the strangers standing guard outside.

He rushed back to the hotel. As soon as he entered, he spotted people on all the major stairways. He
showed no mercy and took them all out, ther rushed to the second floor, defeating people along the
way.
When he got to Quincyâs room, he saw people standing guard around the door, too.
Inside.
Lorne had taken his clothes off.
He wiggled his body at his two little lambs and laughed.
âHere I come.â At that moment, he heard fighting outside.
âWhatâs going on out there?!â he turned and yelled. As he turned around, the door opened and a man
walked in, his expression dark
âSo youâre finally here, James. Iâve been waitingâ¦â
Lorne had not gotten his words out when James marched over to him and grabbed him, throwing him
brutally toward the window.
Lorne smashed through the glass and flew outside. He fell two floors down onto the ground.
âAhâ¦â
A pained cry came from outside, then slowly got softer.
âAre you alright, dearest?â James rushed over to the cowering Thea, then grew enraged at the
handprint on her face. âTâll kill him!â
He ran out the window and leaped down.
âAhh!â
A heart-rending shout traveled into the room. Quincy and Thea shivered at the noise.
Soon enough, James returned. âItâs alright now, darling. Iâve dealt with that little beat.â âHoney? D-Did
you kill him?â Thea was pale.
James waved his hand. âNo. He fell from the second floor. At most, he only broke a few bones and had
a concussion. Though, I did break his third leg. Heâll never be able to use it again from now on.â
âHey, James. Iâm the victim here. How about some words of comfort?â James glanced at Quincy. She
was still wearing her three-piece. Nothing was removed. How was she a victim? âHe just hugged you or
something. Itâs no big deal,â James said nonchalantly. âWhy youâ¦â
Quincy flushed red.
James took his phone out and called the police.
Lome was growing too bold, knocking out so many people with an illegal knockout gas like that.
At that moment, May walked in.
âW-Whoâs this, Honey?â
Thea frowned at May. âWellâ¦â James was caught by surprise and could not think of an excuse. May,
on the other hand, reacted in time. âHello, Thea. Iâm May Argentum a bodyguard Mr. Caden hired to
protect you in secret. I got hurt in a fight when these intruders charged in. I apologize for the shock you
had to endure due to a dereliction of duty on my end.â âBodyguard?â Thea looked at James, confused.
âAh, yes.â James scratched his head and continued. âI was worried something would happen to you
again after that kidnapping, so I secretly hired a bodyguard for you. It was thanks to May waking me
from the knockout gas that I could come save you.â âOh, I see.â Thea came to a realization
