Back then, the senior disciple of Tempris House was accused of joining forces with the Malvada Sect.

After learning the truth, James and his comrades looked at each other.

decision.”

James thought about it and said, “Let’s head back first.”

Wynton asked, “How are we going to report this?”

James said with a faint smile, “Report? I’m the Head of Tempris. Who do I need to report it to?”

After speaking, James departed back to the Verde Academy. His comrades followed behind him.

Soon, they returned to the Verde Academy.

Everyone went back to Tempris House to rest, whereas James headed to Verdett House.

He had learned a lot from Zula but was unsure of their reliability. Thus, he wanted to verify them with

Lothar.

However, when he arrived at the Verdett House, he was informed that Lothar had entered seclusion.

The person that greeted him was the Great Elder, Parthias.

“Sir Parthias.”

The Great Elder of Verdett House was a peerless powerhouse. Thus, James remained respectful

toward him.

“Welcome back,” Parthias nodded lightly.

The two headed to a cabin located in a quiet location of the back mountain.

Standing outside the cabin, Parthias asked, “Why have you returned so soon? How’s your mission to

destroy the Malvada Sect going?”

The Malvada Sect had always been under the Verde Academy’s watchful eye. Therefore, Parthias was

aware of everything James had done recently,

James asked hesitantly, “Was the Malvada Sect’s Leader a disciple of Tempris House?”

Parthias stroked his white beard. He already expected James to bring up the topic.

He nodded lightly and said, ‘Yeah, she used to be a disciple of Tempris House. She’s also Wael’s

younger sister.

Unfortunately, she was bewitched by corrupted means and betrayed the Verde Academy. She joined

the Immortal Sect and eventually became the Malvada Sect’s Leader.”

After hearing this, James was convinced that Zula was telling the truth.

“I can’t complete this mission. Send someone else to do it.” James stood up and began to walk away.
