The first test was fairly simple.

James and his companions were standing the furthest away from the wall. Still,

James was able to determine the function of the glowing wall just by looking at it.

next section.”

Gaius and the others had also arrived at the same conclusion as they had mastered the Genesis Path

Scripture and possessed a vast knowledge of inscriptions.

After hearing the announcement, the cultivators standing closest to the glowing wall started moving

toward it. Those people also happened to be the strongest cultivators among all the participants.

Most of those cultivators belonged to renowned, powerful groups or organizations that wished to boost

their fame and reputation by getting their members accepted into Dieux Academy. Those people

passed through the wall of light without any difficulty.

A brief moment later, more than half of the participants were forced to remain on this side of the wall as

they could not seem to pass through it.

King Marciais glanced at the crowd before him. “Those with ranks below the Chaos Essencia Rank

couldn’t pass through the wall of light. That means only cultivators with and above the Chaos Essencia

Rank meet the academy’s requirements.”

Taran drew a long breath. “It also implies that Dieux Academy is setting a high bar for the recruitment of

their new members. They only accept members who have achieved at least the Chaos Essencia Rank.

Those cultivators are considered the elites in the Endlos Plane.”

“We’ve just started with the first test.” Gurgen said, “More people will get eliminated as we move on to

the subsequent tests.”

Soon enough, it was their turn to pass through the wall.

James and his friends moved through it effortlessly as they all met the minimum requirement.

Meanwhile, the headmaster and elders of the Dieux Academy were watching what was happening in

the realm from the outside world.

Xhemal stroked his beard and smiled brightly. “I can see a lot of potential in this year’s participants.

Many have succeeded in passing the first test.”

Jorah Badran, the Great Elder of the Dieux Academy, stood beside him.

He replied smilingly, “I have given specific instructions to our members to travel to all of the different

planes and search for suitable candidates to participate in our recruitment. I even told them not to miss

out on the first- level planes.”

Jorah was a superior cultivator whose cultivation rank was only slightly lower than that of Xhemal’s. He

had achieved the middle stage of the Martial Celestial Rank.

“I wonder if any of the participants would be able to discover the secret hidden in the realm.” Xhemal’s

grin broadened.

They had come across hidden, unexpected talents during their previous recruitments. Xhemal was

hoping that they would be able to find talented cultivators this time as well.

After the first test, James and the others entered the second section, which was very wide and

spacious. However, the number of participants who remained had decreased significantly.

Another wall of light stood before them.

“Cultivators, those who can move across this wall pass the second test.” King Marciais cast a glance in

James’ direction. “What are they trying to test this time, James?”

He and the others were looking at James since they were unable to determine the function of the wall

this time.

After a few seconds, James explained, ‘This test is designed to examine the cultivators’ physical

strength and condition. A formation has been put up within the wall of light. All powers except for the

powers of your physical body will be sealed as you enter the formation. We’ll have to be able to

withstand the effects of the formation to move through it.”
