Salvius squinted his eyes and said, “I’ll give you a chance.”

“What do I need to do?” James looked at Salvius with determination.

Salvius replied, “There’s a secret hidden within this realm. If you can find it, I’ll agree to your request.

Otherwise, we’ll stick with the original reward.”

Surprised, James thought to himself, ‘A secret? Is there truly one in this realm? I’ve carefully scanned

the realm, but didn’t find anything out of the ordinary.’

“Could you give me a hint?” asked James.

“No.” Savlius refused. He turned to the other participants and said, “Everyone else can also try to find it.

Whoever finds the secret will be given the resources from an eighthlevel plane.”

Savlius’ words caused a massive commotion amongst the participants. Meanwhile, James returned to

his comrades.

Zavis gave him a thumbs up and praised, ‘You’ve got some guts, Forty-nine.”

James chuckled and said, “I was just trying out my luck. If the Dieux Academy turned me down, there’d

be nothing I could do either. I wasn’t really expecting anything.”

Taran asked curiously, “What could the realm’s secret be?”

James shrugged and answered, “How would I know?”

Suddenly, Salvius’ voice resounded again.

“Attention, please. I’d like to congratulate everyone on passing the trials and becoming disciples of the

Dieux Academy. However, the real assessment has only just begun. We’ll proceed with the Zeilor Battle,

which will be in the form of team battles. Those without companions are allowed to fight alone.”

Everyone’s eyes were fixed on Salvius. He casually waved his hand, and an arena materialized at the

central region’s border.

‘You may enter the arena now.”

The participants walked into the arena. Immediately afterward, the scene before them changed.

The arena transformed into a breathtaking landscape with towering mountains, vast land, and a jewel-

blue stream.

‘The Zeilor Battle’s rules are relatively simple. There are ten cities within this arena. You’ll have to seize

one of the cities and maintain rulership over it until the battle is over.

“You don’t have to worry about dying inside the arena, as your souls can’t be obliterated here. If you are

to die in battle, our academy’s powerhouses will revive you.

“Also, you can find this realm’s secret within the arena.”

After listening to the announcement, James ascended to the peak of one of the mountains.

Gurgen’s brows furrowed as he complained, “Only ten cities? There are at least fifteen participants that

are at the Petit Celestial Rank. How are we going to fight them?”

Taran also expressed his disappointment. “Indeed. It’s a battle tailor-made for them. Weaker cultivators

won’t stand a chance.”

The other participants also grouped up, expressing dissatisfaction with the battle’s rules.

Salvius elaborated on the rules, saying, “Apart from the ten cities, you can find a few spiritual mountains

marked with the name of our academy’s powerhouses. If you seize them and survive till the end of the

battle, you’ll become disciples of these powerhouses.

“Meanwhile, those who seize the ten cities will become disciples of our academy’s elders. Amongst

them, there are cities marked with the names of Sir Jorah, as well as Sir Xhemal. You can choose a

place to occupy accordingly.”

The frustrated participants were immediately relieved by his words.

“So there are also spiritual mountains we can seize.”

‘This makes much more sense. If there are only ten cities to conquer, how will we fight against the Petit

Celestial Rank.”

“Let’s go!”

The participants were fired up, and many quickly set out to look for the cities and spiritual mountains.
