Zeno had been following the oil lamp through the darkness for a very long time.

“Zeno?” James was slightly startled. He was not expecting to encounter Zeno in the Dark World.

“Why is someone else here?” Thea frowned slightly. She had only sensed the oil lamp’s aura and did

not sense anyone near the oil lamp.

Zeno’s face looked evidently fatigued. He waved his hand, and a huge boulder floated over from the

distance. He sat down and said, “I’ve been chasing this thing for some time. I can finally rest.”

James waved his hand, and the oil lamp floated to him. He scrutinized the oil lamp and found it to be

very magical, especially the wick and faint light.

After analyzing the oil lamp for a while, James discovered that countless primitive inscriptions formed

the light.

Now that he had obtained the oil lamp, he could cultivate the primitive inscriptions of many of the Dark

World’s races. However, the primitive inscriptions of the races imprisoned within the Prison World were

not included inside the oil lamp.

James put away the oil lamp, looked at Zeno, and asked,” Have you recovered your memories?”

Zeno nodded lightly and said, ‘The oil lamp is very magical. When I got close to it, my soul as well the

memories that have been extracted from me, slowly recovered.”

“You were once Emperor Raiah’s most trusted confidant and were called the best Rune Arts

Grandmaster. Do you know about Emperor Raiah’s origin?”

James asked straightforwardly.

“What exactly are you referring to?” Zeno asked with a frown.

James frowned and said, “Does Emperor Raiah really have a great origin?”

Zeno stared at James and scanned him with his Zen. After a while, he exclaimed, “You! How is your

physical body so strong now?” James’ brows furrowed tighter, and he said, “Even a powerhouse at the

Holy Celestial Rank can’t see through my body’s strength, nor sense the power within it. Yet, you easily

saw through me. It seems you must also be somebody extraordinary.”

“Me? Extraordinary?” Zeno chuckled. Immediately afterward, he asked seriously, “Even I couldn’t trap

the oil lamp. But you easily trapped it, and put it away. You’re very impressive. I’m assuming you’ve

mastered the primitive inscriptions of a race from the Dark World. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have been

able to trap it.”

James was instantly intrigued by his words.

“It seems I was right. You used to follow Emperor Raiah around, so it’s only natural you’re someone

special. If I’m not wrong, Emperor Raiah is the reincarnation of the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion’s Master.

Meanwhile, you must’ve been one of his subordinates even in your past life.”

James made a few speculations. According to the information he had, the oil lamp was stolen by the

Heavenly Secrets Pavilion’s Master. However, the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion’s Master was severely

injured and fled. Therefore, James guessed that the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion’s Master was at his limit

and had no choice but to reincarnate. He was reincarnated in the Endlos Plane as Xeraiah. However,
