“How would I know?” Zeno shrugged, then proceeded to scan the surroundings.

The group had arrived at one end of the mountain range, and behind them was the formation they had

just passed through.

“We're at the formation's border, and this area is most likely not inhabited. The Prison World is vast,

and countless races are imprisoned here. After such a long time, I'm sure many of them have already

given birth to descendants. This place should be pretty lively right now,” said Zeno.

“Let's walk around and check out the so-called Prison World. We should learn about the place first,”

James suggested, then stepped forward.

Although the mountain range was rather extensive, it was easy for them to pass through. Soon, they

walked out of the mountain range, and a large city entered their view. Several spiritual mountains rose

from the ground and towered into the sky. A few of them looked rather grand and seemed like empires.

On the tall city wall, ancient texts were carved out Grimstead.

The people flowed like rivers, in and out of the city gate.

James could sense that their cultivation ranks were relatively weak. They had yet to enter the

Sovereign Rank, and most were only at the Caelum Acme Rank.

After casually scanning the crowd’s cultivation ranks, James frowned and said, “They're quite weak. I

thought the people imprisoned in the Prison World were very strong, and we'd only encounter

powerhouses.”

Zeno thought awhile and said, “It’s probably because we're not in the Prison World’s central region yet.

This must be just a border city. Let's go to the central region.”

James nodded and said, “Alright. Let's bypass this city and head toward the central region.”

Suddenly, Zeno was intrigued by a conversation he had overheard and halted in his tracks.

“I heard an ancient beast appeared in the Dunhamvale World.”

“Oh, really? Where did the news come from?”

“I have a distant relative who is a disciple in the Avenir Academy. It’s news directly from the Avenir

Academy.”

James looked at Zeno, who had come to a stop, and asked, “ What's wrong?”

“We can't leave yet,” Zeno replied.

“Why not?” Thea was also curious.

“Let's head inside the city first.” Zeno did not explain himself but strode directly into the city.

James and Thea exchanged confused glances for a while, then followed him into the city.

First, they found themselves a residence atop a spiritual mountain to stay in. At the spiritual mountain's

peak, countless independent buildings were available for rent.

After settling in an independent manor, James asked, “Why can’t we leave yet?”

Zeno smiled and answered, “Have you heard of ancient beasts before?”

James shook his head, turned to Thea, and asked, “Have you?”

Thea also shook her head, expressing that she was clueless.
