Chapter 5517
The Almighty Dragon General
Previously, Yered was infected by Flammae poison when he failed to break into the Quasi Bliss Rank.
Now that he had suppressed the poison in his body, he had a breakthrough in his cultivation rank. Even
after he had reached the Quasi Bliss Rank, he refrained from leaving the seclusion area.
Jamesâ face lit up after sensing Yeredâs aura, and he said smilingly, âYou entered the Quasi Bliss
Rank?â Yered replied with a smile, âItâs all thanks to you. If it werenât for the Glaciesâ primitive
inscriptions and the guidance youâve given me, I wouldnât have neutralized the poison or made a
breakthrough in my cultivation rank.â
âGood.â James smiled. Then, he said, âI came to ask you to be part of something that will strip up a
huge storm in the Dark World. Itâll result in a reshuffle in the Dark Worldâs power structure.â
âOh?â Yered looked at James and asked, âDo elaborate.â
James answered, âI want to destroy the Yefteros.â
Yeredâs expression became solemn, and he said, âThis isnât a joke, James. The Yefteros are the
leaders of the Four Ancient Races and have dominated the Dark World for eons. You canât just destroy
them at the drop of a hat.â
âOur chances of destroying the Yefteros will increase if you join us,â James reassured him, then waved
his hand to summon the primitive inscriptions of the five Elemental Primevals. Shortly after, Elemental
Powers materialized.â
âThisâ¦â Yered was stunned.
James said, âIf you help me destroy the Yefteros, Iâll give you the primitive inscriptions of the other
three Elemental Primevals. Iâll also teach you how to cultivate and control the Elemental Powers
simultaneously.â
âDeal,â Yered agreed instantly. He had already cultivated the Flammae and Glaciesâ primitive
inscriptions and was aware of how strong Elemental Powers could be when fused. He knew that
acquiring all five of the Elemental Powers and mastering how to combine them would allow him to gain
terrifying strength.
âWhatâs your plan?â asked Yered.
James instantly gave the Yered the primitive inscriptions of the Tellures, Silvae, and Metalla. Then, he
briefly explained his plan.
âYou head straight somewhere near the Yefteros and hide for now. When the time is right, Iâll head to
the Yeftero World to join you. As for the primitive inscriptions I just gave you, you should try cultivating
them immediately. After you succeed, Iâll teach you how to control the Elemental Powers.
âAlright.â Yered put away the primitive inscriptions, stood up, and said, âThen, Iâll head over to the
Yeftero World and wait for you there.â
James had already successfully won over two powerhouses to assist him. He was glad to have Yered
on his side.
Yeredâs strength had exceeded his expectations. However, James felt it was not enough.
The Yefterosâ was an extraordinary force. After the Dark Worldâs strife, they gained much loot from the
destroyed races. Thus, there must be some powerhouses hidden in the Yefteros that had not revealed
themselves yet.
James contacted Shorru and asked, âMr. Shorru, can the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion contact the
Shadowersâ Great Commander?â
The Shadowers was the Dark Worldâs most terrifying assassination organization.
The Shadowersâ Leader had once claimed to be the Lord of the Dark World.
However, the Four Ancient Races and a few other Primevals joined forces to severely injure him. As a
result, the Shadowers stayed low ever since.
James wanted to get the Shadowers on his side. With powerhouses from the Shadowers, the operation
to destroy the Yefteros would look very promising.
âWhy are you looking for the Shadowers?â Shorru replied quickly, âYou canât be reckless, James. The
Shadowers are ruthless people. If you can avoid getting involved with them, avoid it at all costs.â
âYou donât need to worry about me. Just help me find their great commander,â
said James.
âOkay. Iâll make arrangements. However, it might take some time. The Shadowers are a mysterious
organization, and their great commander is even more secretive. Although our intelligence networks
are exceptional, itâll still take some time.â
âAlright. Iâll be waiting for the good news,â said James. He looked to the dark void in the distance and
murmured, âItâs time to head to the Mevryees to see my father-in-law.â
